25.01.2022 Fabrication and painting (important note - clients choice of colours ) of the track frame and chassis complete, ready for stage one build/assembly. This is the frame and chassis for an ancillary vehicle to support a drill rig, engineered by OMG to operate on salt lake surfaces. Traditionally drill rigs of this kind are mounted on CAT tracks, but these rigs have been engineered by OMG to be mounted on special tracks, designed to exert minimal pressure on the lake surface, m...eaning they can traverse and operate effectively. 20.01.2022 OMG is proud to announce it's biggest project to date. We'll be manufacturing a rig track base/frame, and fitting modified CAT 320D tracks for a Hanjin D&B 35-Multi Drill Rig for use at a new major salt lakes project in the Goldfields. Along with the drill rig track base, we'll be manufacturing three others, each with modified CAT 320D, as support vehicles. This project marks a milestone for OMG and is reflective of our expanding engineering capabilities.

Dubbed 'DS02', this vehicle will provide operational support to the primary drill rig (due out next). Powered by a CAT C11 industrial engine and sporting a rear mounted Palfinger loader crane, DS02 is custom designed to operate on salt lakes, exerting an average ground pressure of just 1.74 PSI.
