25.01.2022 Today my son went back to school for the first time in 6 weeks, and for the first time in what feels like forever I felt inspired to get back to doing what I love. This. Dont get me wrong, I had very mixed emotions as I shoved him out of the car at the school gates and sped off (jokes ) but one thing is for sure, I was certainly not put on this earth to be a school teacher let me tell you that. ... I take my hat off to the educators. I love my kids like nothing else in this world, but teaching a grade one student whilst managing a needy toddler was more stressful than working fondant without aircon on a 40 degree humid Queensland summer day. And to the parents who still managed to work from home and school children-how!?? Covid-19, we are well and truly done with you.
