20.01.2022 Fatigue and muscle weakness play a major challenge when facing an autoimmune disease. Which means for most of us exercising goes out the window. You look at fitness programs and classes and wish for the day that you have the energy and strength to workout again. 12.01.2022 To everyone else you look fine/great, but only if they knew how you felt inside your body. The good days you do feel fine/great but that can turn into a bad day is a second. All of your symptoms flare up, you can’t function, you think to yourself how am I going to make it through the day, you become very sensitive and want to go back to bed and hide away from the world. You know you can’t because you have responsibilities that take priority, you don’t know how to look afte...r yourself in these moments and all you want is for the day to be over and hope tomorrow will be better. The days feel so long and if you tried to explain what your feeling or going through to anyone other then your loved ones they wouldn’t understand, so you feel alone and helpless. These are the not so good moments/days someone with an autoimmune disease go through. For some on a very regular basis. In these moments we do have to listen to our bodies and slow down as much as we can, as hard as because in these moments you crave all the things that won’t help you feel better then will only give you a temporary feel good moment but to increase the healing teas, foods that will heal and nourish your body, find some compassion towards your body because in these moments your body is fighting to help protect you from your autoimmune disease getting worse.
