11.01.2022 How are your new year resolutions going? ....mmm If they are not going well dont worry you are part of the 92% of the population that fail to keep their new year intentions. ... One of the main reasons we fail is because the voices in our heads discourage us to stick to it when things get hard... We start negotiating with them, justifiying our bad habits and then giving up and surrendering to far from ideal life. This Saturday we will work our 5th Chakra related to our communication... we will explore and make peace with those voices and regain our true voice! We will get on track with those new year resolutions! We still have half of the year ahead!

08.01.2022 Do you feel anger? i do! I am a Yoga Teacher, so I have it all figured out and I live in a state of bliss and peace. I wish! I feel anger and fear just as any other human being, including the Dalai Lama! Yes I'm sure he feels it too! So what is the difference between him and any of us? He pauses, he is aware of it, he allows it until it passes...... And that is probably one of the hardest things to do: To stay there still, whilst your body is caught by 1000 negative thoughts mixed with feelings of disappointment, fear, injustice, anxiety... When every cell in your body is screaming, and you feel your blood burning and a tingling sensation invading your whole body like running ants... You feel like running, or maybe like arguing, or you may freeze... But no, don't React! Wait a second! Breath..., stay with the uncomfortable, be brave, breath again, it will pass... Don't React, Respond... And then maybe you made it, you stayed with it, you realized that it passed, that it didn't kill you, that it was all a huge grey mental cloud... Then,after the storm has passed, you can Respond, you can allow compassion and kindness to take the lead and find a solution that won't hurt anyone, including you. So anger, such an intense feeling, a feeling that can be very helpful, a feeling that teaches us what matters to us, that shows us the path to our deepest fears, that screams exactly what we are longing for ... and yet if we listen with a heart that hears we can find true peace. This Saturday we will practice on a fun way how to stay with the discomfort, we will train our minds and bodies, so when the storm of anger comes we have super waterproof umbrellas!
