19.01.2022 We had this nice Mazda 2 in this morning for it's usual logbook service. The battery was starting the vehicle but tested bad with a rating of 550CCA and only out putting 356CCA. 02.01.2022 Another new customer in for diagnosis with lifter failure on a 6.0L L98, this time cylinder 3 exhaust lifter. This is the worst one we've seen so far having being jammed in the lifter bore and gouging it up. It also chewed the cam lobe and dropped metal all through the engine requiring it to need extensive machining to re-use the block.... We always recommend servicing any cammed LS engines every 5,000 with quality Penrite Oil, oil flush additives and our ACDelco filters.
