20.01.2022 This week at the Kingsmont pond, I started on the shallows at the front of the pond. Cleared out a lot of sludge and trimmed back some of the over growth. Then gave it a vacuum to tidy it up a bit more.

14.01.2022 I’m pleased to have cleared the front edge of the Kingston pond. It was a bit more difficult getting this lot out, as the plants and roots were very dense and thick. But very satisfying to see some good progress.

12.01.2022 It’s been a busy few days. Out at Nuriootpa to patch a leak in the pond liner and part way through rebuilding it. Then a filter clean out at Two Wells. And today, out at Mt Torrens working on the Kingsmont pond. So no matter where you live out in the north of Adelaide, and you have a pond that needs some attention? 10.01.2022 Replaced the old fountain pump (which died yesterday), with the original waterfall pump. It’s a very powerful, so I had to lower the pump fountain nozzle a good 5cm under the water level. The good thing about it is, it aerates the water, which is great for the fish and helps prevents algae growth.

07.01.2022 Just a different view and the scale of this clean out and maintaining this huge beautiful pond!

05.01.2022 My pump supplier was telling me about a customer that dropped his pump while installing it. This is a $4000 pump that’s beyond repair. So, if you are installing a pump yourself, please be VERY careful! Or hire a professional to install it for you.
