25.01.2022 Each day educators aim to challenge children's thinking by extending on their emerging interests, assisting them in learning/ building upon exisiting skills. Recently in the toddler 2 room, toddler children have been showing an interest in identifying colours in the everyday environment. Todays experience involved four different colours to identify and sort. This experience builds on colour recognition, fine motor skills, cognitive development and verbal communication. 18.01.2022 Children in the kinder room have been exploring the topic of insects. This insect experience allows children to observe the details of a variety of insects, building on their investigation skills. 16.01.2022 Windy days are the best days for parachute exploration! Today the parachute was tied to the poles in the Pre-kinder/ kinder yard, allowing the wind to take control of the movements. The spontaneous movements of the parachute created an exilerating game during the sports enrichment session. For further enquiries please contact the service on 8751 8034

16.01.2022 Cause and effect! Our toddler friends particiapted in an icy sensory experience while engaging with the topic of 'cause and effect'. What happens to an icy cold object on a warm day? It melts of course! These dinosaur eggs captivated our young toddler's attention as they worked hard to remove the dinosaurs, describing how the eggs felt and what was happening. 16.01.2022 Today children in the pre kinder room explored the topic of finger prints. Each child carefully dipped their finger onto an ink pad before pressing it onto the paper. Focusing their attention carefully on the imprints left behind, each child was able to observe the unique pattern on each of their finger prints. 10.01.2022 Children represent their thinking and knowledge through actions, words and drawings. In the kinder room, children have been using a floor book during group time to discuss and represent their ideas through illustration. Providing these opportunities allows children to actively participate in the program while working on their social and verbal communication skills. 09.01.2022 At One Education, we provide stimulating enrichment programs based around arts, music, mindfulness, sports and nutrition. Today our toddler children participated in an enriching art experience. Being provided with a variety of colour choices and using natural pegs, toddler children were worked on their masterpieces while being inspired by their outdoor environment. 05.01.2022 Today we excitedly welcomed back our returning families who have been away due to stage 4 lockdown. We also welcomed some new families into our service today! 02.01.2022 Children in the pre-kinder room have been exploring their emerging interests in numeracy concepts. Today our pre kinder friends worked on linking the numeracy symbols 1, 2, 3 and four with the words one, two, three and four. Once exploring the link between the symbol and the word, our pre-kinder friends attempted to match the number by moving the appropriate amount of beads.
