An achievement she never thought possible 5 years ago when she started training with Gareth, but her consistency and hard work paid off. 09.01.2022 ANOTHER STEP TOWARDS NORMAL. Today’s announcement allows us to take another step towards One Fitness normal. No need to book your gym workouts Our upstairs capacity is back to 100% ... Reboot - small group training will be moved back indoors. Although we are technically allowed to have full classes, for now we feel it will be best to keep a cap on things. LIFT will have a maximum of 6 and Reboot a max’ of 8, just so our community feels comfortable as we transition back. We hope to hear further announcements on 24-hour operation in the coming weeks. A greater squat range will then flow into a more balanced strength development. The result, freer movement and increased performance. 04.01.2022 OUR PLANNED ROADMAP OUT First of all, to our amazing community that have stuck by us during this time, I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you. As the dust settles after Sunday’s announcement, we are starting to get a clearer picture on what the next few weeks and months will look like. ... As of the 28th of September we will be able to perform outdoor personal training for up to two people (not including the trainer). To all of our PT community, we’ll be in contact to guide you thru exactly what is on offer. If all goes to plan On the 26th of October, with the lockdown being scheduled to ease further, we plan to be back training in gym but under heavy restrictions. The state government has not yet clarified the details of these restrictions, but if we use the last lockdown as a guide, I expect that we will be allowed to offer PT and hopefully a limited number of gym members within the gym. This will also open up the opportunity to move Reboot small group training into the carpark. From the November 23rd we expect to be trading close to normal but with the new industry COVID plan. Our private boutique business model puts us in a strong position Compared to many other health clubs, we are in a strong position to be able to offer our members’ access and services at the earliest possible time / phase of restrictions. This is because our model is boutique and private. Many of the scenarios currently being displayed in the media are reflective of big box clubs that need to consider the movement of 1000’s of members. Our private studio, does not allow people to walk in off the street. Our swipe entry system logs every visit and over 60% of our visits are booked appointments to see either a trainer or a small group training coach. My excitement is slowly building as each day passes. I can’t wait to see my fitness family again, I miss the sense of community so much. I also believe that the best defence to any disease is to be fit and healthy and that the effects of lockdown need to be addressed as soon as we possibly can. Until that day, let’s stay strong and stay healthy. I am so very proud and grateful of our tribe, both trainers and members, for being so resilient, adaptable to change and committed to their health and fitness. I look forward to seeing you soon.
