25.01.2022 Hows this incredible view from the very top of Barangaroo! Notice our cutting-edge solar panels on the roof? Theyre an important part of the superior environmental benchmarks our Tower has set in Australia. Its one of the many ways in which the building is designed to reduce energy consumption, from solar shading designed into its unique façade to high efficient glass technology and thermal performance, responding to the position of the sun. And were proudly 100% carbon neutral. From up here, One International Towers is truly the envy of all it surveys.

24.01.2022 An update on our amenities: our changing rooms and bike parking access are now open for our building community! We hope your bike commute to work is now that bit easier, and access to a post-workout shower encourages you check out the reserve and the harbour during your lunch break. With CV19 restrictions easing, we're glad to see more of our building community return to a new normal, and stay energised and active during their work week.

23.01.2022 A solo lunch break can still have its benefits In around 1,036 steps, you can find yourself in Barangaroo Reserve, recharging against the backdrop of Walsh Bay and the Harbour Bridge. If you've the time, take a stroll along pretty Nawi Cove. We think this is the perfect way to hit the reset button, and keep 1.5+ metre distance from others. Have you taken this walk before? @barangaroosydney

22.01.2022 To all the special mothers and mentors in our lives, our team wish you a happy Mother's Day Sending love and hugs also to those social distancing this year instead of celebrating the day together in person How will you be celebrating with your loved ones this weekend?

22.01.2022 Say a big hello to Estée, a member of our Concierge in our South Lobby She said she'll always choose a Long Island Iced Tea during happy hour, she sings in the shower (actually!), and has never missed an ep of Game of Thrones. Estée is currently reading Barefoot Investor and has pulled out the big guns in telling us that she can solve a Rubik's cube in under 1.5 minutes. You best ask her about it when you see her next!

21.01.2022 Say hello to Maja She's one of our fabulous concierges at One ITS! You might find her at happy hour sipping a vodka on the rocks and singing her heart out to 'I Want It That Way' by Backstreet Boys We are also so jealous that she got to meet world #2 tennis player, Rafa Nadal! Her favourite cafe is Bourke Street Bakery. Luckily it's only a 3-minute walk from the office - make sure you check them out and tell her what you think!

21.01.2022 For the Plastic Free July movement, we encourage our Barangaroo community this month (and ongoing!) in choosing to refuse single-use plastics where you can: all things like plastic cutlery, straws and coffee cups if possible. While this helps to cut significant amounts of rubbish turning into pollution and landfill, it will help you find great alternatives that can then become new habits. Our Towers have world-class waste minimisation, collection and recycling processes, aiming to divert more than 80% of operational waste from residential and commercial buildings from landfill. We encourage our local retailers and suppliers to also avoid plastic packaging and single-use plastic where they can. Whether at home or at work we can all jump on board with Plastic Free July in many small, mindful ways to make a huge impact.

20.01.2022 City of Sydney is making it easier for us to get to Barangaroo for work or play As of 6 July, there's a 50% discount on Opal cards when you travel outside of peak times on the Opal network. Plus if you're a big cyclist (or this inspires you to take it up!), there's now pop-up cycleways to get you down to Barangaroo safely. We know some of our One International Towers team, like Tewe here, are excited for this: look at that grin! With our Bike Parking and Change Rooms open ...to our building community, the idea of cycling to work is sounding pretty good to us. Will you start riding your bike to work now? 20.01.2022 Meet our Lobby Security Guard, George! You might find him sipping lemon lime bitters or enjoying a block of fruit & nut chocolate all to himself He's mad for Star Wars, and says that the best gift he's ever gotten were IMAX tickets for Star Wars the Force Awakens. We're all super jealous knowing that he's met Hugh Jackman before, and he also says his favourite coffee in Barangaroo is from North by Dukes (found right here in Tower One!)

Local favourite OH BOO Chocolates at 33 Barangaroo Ave would be seeing lots of our building community passing through today Our building management team enjoy chocolate in all forms, nominating decadent hot chocolate, dark chocolate strawberries and choc milkshakes as their favourites! 18.01.2022 As part of NAIDOC Week, artist Noni Cragg created a beautiful artwork in tribute to BMX Pro, Benn Pigot Benn Pigot is of First Nations Australian, Rotuma and Irish heritage. Each element in the painting, from the flora and fauna to the wildlife, is a nod to the different aspects of Benn's life and a reflection of this year's theme 'Always Was, Always Will Be'. What is your interpretation of this piece? Let us know below

17.01.2022 We're excited that the new Watermans Cove at Barangaroo South is about to open! Did you know the same team that designed Gardens by the Bay in Singapore have created this new park and garden space? The boardwalk will definitely be a magnet for our building community, just in time for us to enjoy our lunch breaks here over summer!

16.01.2022 As May is Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Month, we want to share the awesome work of Two Good Co. Unfortunately, many services that provided food to our community's most vulnerable have been cut. Thankfully, Two Good continue to operate. However, they need your help to satisfy the ever-increasing hunger in our communities. Whether you purchase their hand sanitiser made in collaboration with brewery Young Henrys or choose to donate directly, your support means food in the mouths of men, women and children doing it tough. With Good Food takeaway (or delivery for those around the metro Sydney area) you eat one, Two Good Co. treats one! This gesture of compassion and love is what will get us all through this time together. @petrinatinslay

16.01.2022 With NAIDOC Week 2020 moved to new dates in November, we can still take time to reflect on the art and culture of First Nations people. From now until September, the 22nd Biennale of Sydney will be at Art Gallery of New South Wales only 15 minutes from our building. It's curated by the first Aboriginal artist/curator in the history of the Biennale, Brook Andrew. The title this year is Nirin a Wiradjuri word meaning edge with the accompanying public program titled Nirin Wir, meaning edge of the sky. This year, the exhibition sets out to give voice to artists of colour and of First Nations who have been marginalised by Eurocentric art. Make sure you check out this incredible display.

15.01.2022 NAIDOC Week 2020 invites all Australians to embrace the true history of this country. It was a week of cultural celebration at One ITS We watched artist Noni Cragg create a beautiful painting in the South Lobby, sang along with DJ Forever Tupou and enjoyed treats from Bug Shop. Thank you for joining us in celebrating and learning about our oldest continuing culture.

14.01.2022 With Father's Day coming on Sunday, we're reflecting on the fathers, brothers, uncles and important men in our life that are our teachers, friends and mentors. Here's some words from the great men in our team: "This shot was a proud and happy Dad moment. Its that time in my life when I was superman for the girls. That blind faith and trust in their Dad is a touching and humbling thought. I have a few of these photos that even now do not fail to mist my eyes. Memories to live... for!" - Ashok, General Manager Eng. & Operations "The most memorable era for me as a Dad was when the boys were little and we would go away on holidays. We made it a rule to have no electronic devices and instead play board games, read books, go for long walks, swim, do a drawing or paint a picture." - Tewe, Property Services Supervisor "This shot was taken last Fathers Day with my boys. A special moment in time for me to reflect on how the years have passed. We joked, laughed; a good time had by all. All the time small flashes were going through my mind of them through the years as I reminisced. How can one say not to be proud, to have held and cradled each one of them at their birth. Eyes closed, so content in your arms. The first smile the first words the first steps. Being there for them to support them throughout the years, skateboarding, bikes, swimming, surfing, sports, academic achievements, HSC and Uni Graduates. Instilling the values to make them young adults ready for their own futures. Time marches on but do you know the best part of life, I get to do it all over again as a granddad! Looking forward to this." - Ted, Property Services Manager My proud dad moment is when you can go out and be the envy of others by being surrounded by my beautiful daughters, wife & little man. Its amazing how our little girls have gone from nappies to dresses & our little boy will also one day be his own man. As a dad Im proud of all that our girls have achieved. Emmanuel, Property Services Manager

13.01.2022 Art Gallery of New South Wales has officially re-opened this month! Though for those who would still love to see portraits, sculpture, Australian landscapes and more online while still physical distancing, Art Gallery of New South Wales have created online exhibitions for our personal viewing too! Art is a source of hope and inspiration in difficult times, so it's a great reminder that there is lots of joy in revisiting or discovering art and artists we love, or have yet to meet. 13.01.2022 Look up! We are lit in purple every night this week, standing in solidarity with young rainbow people for Wear it Purple Day. Our Towers can be seen for miles and we hope they can serve as a beacon of positivity and inclusivity for LGBTQ+ youth for a bright future, and to let them know that some of the biggest companies in Australia have their backs. You can show your support by wearing it purple and hashtagging #wearitpurple on your social media. Learn more: www.wearitpurple.org

13.01.2022 Working remotely? Here are our team's tips for taking care of yourself while still meeting those deadlines Establish normality at the top of your day: wash your face, brush your teeth, breakfast and into some comfy clothes. Try not to start working the moment you wake up! Set up a permanent workspace for yourself, and try to avoid working from your bed. Keep that sanctuary for calm and rest only.... If your wifi allows you to, try working outdoors in your backyard, patio or balcony to mix things up. Also: be sun safe! Make sure to clock-off with a plan for something to replenish, like a dog walk, podcast, reading, or phone a loved one. What are your top tips?

12.01.2022 We're super excited to announce that our One ITS building has achieved a 5.5 Star NABERS Energy rating! It's important to our team to be as environmentally sustainable as we can, especially in our energy and water consumption, and look for new ways to develop year on year

12.01.2022 While working remotely can have its silver linings (like having video meetings in uggboots!), we want to know what you've missed most about your workplace. From coffee to community, we'd love to hear what your answer would be?

11.01.2022 What's a Sydneysider to do on another blue-sky day? Grab your front row seat on the F3 ferry from Barangaroo Wharf 1 to Cockatoo Island and catch the art wonders of the Biennale of Sydney (titled NIRIN) on its last weekend! The ferry wharf is less than a 4 minute walk from our Towers front door too. Best of all, theres an all-day (socially-distanced) party on Cockatoo Island, Sydney Harbour from 11am-9pm this Saturday being thrown by P&V Wine + Liquor Merchants and Marys On The Edge. The event is free, but its first in best dressed as all revellers will be required to remain seated, unless theyre walking the island and checking out the fantastic art installations from Indigenous artists around the world. @cockatooisland

11.01.2022 A few reminders for our wonderful building community travelling back in to the workplace, to keep your health and safety a top priority: Stay social but keep distant. We encourage a 1.5 metres space between you and other community members always where possible. Clean is the new cool. Keep using our Hand Sanitiser stations in our Lobby when you can. A smile can travel 1.5 metres. Keep connected with familiar faces in this period; we're in this together.... Take a look at our building signage for more updates on CV19 measures.

11.01.2022 It's Mens Health Week and were so here for it! Your overall health and wellbeing is the continual balance of the food we eat, what we do to keep our body moving, ways we care for our mind and how we connect with family and friends. We have many outstanding men on our team here at One International Towers, and they share how they care for themselves: George says, "I set myself a goal of 15,000 steps per day and enjoy bootcamp style training 3 times a week." Sash says, "I do ...my daily walks, I try to do at least one hour of walk per day. When things get back to normal I would like to get back to dancing and martial arts. At the beginning of the year I also stopped eating meat." Tewe says, "Everyday I either run, swim or cycle mixed with yoga and weight training. My kids love basketball and enjoy many hours playing 2 v 1, shooting hoops and training with them." Bart says, "I work out 4-5 times per week, with my Personal Trainer and dance classes at Sydney Dance Company. On my days off you will usually find me walking or hiking in Blue Mountains or National Park. On the mental health side I started studies at Yale University, 'The silence of Wellbeing' to incorporate specific wellness activities into my life." What do you do to stay healthy?

10.01.2022 Meet Alix We welcomed her into our team recently as our Customer Experience Manager, and were all surprised to hear how far she commutes to work from Wollongong, on the south coast! "When I landed my first full-time job in Sydney CBD, I told my manager that I would 100% move to Sydney by the end of the year nearly 4 years later I am still commuting. My (nearly) two hours each way on the train is usually filled with breakfast, staring at the beautiful coastline as the train... passes the famous Sea Cliff Bridge, catching up on podcasts and the odd nap - as Ive been up since 5am to squeeze in some exercise. I've become friendly with others who endure the long journey not much conversation is exchanged, perhaps a smile, but sitting in the same seat on the same carriage each day you do become known to each other. The commute does mean my days are long but I'm yet to give up the close proximity to beautiful beaches, the convenience of seeing local friends and family, and all the memories and attachments that I have to the Illawarra since childhood. A few Sydney house-sitting opportunities have tempted me but Im always drawn back to home."

10.01.2022 Do you work in Tower One, and often store your bike here or use the showers? Here are 4 things to remember as part of our community's CovidSafe Plan: Register with our Concierge team when using the facilities so that we can track numbers and contact you if needed Avoid peak times and waiting periods where possible when using the facilities Use the disinfectant wipes provided in the bike storage area and throughout the facilities... Keep using our hand sanitiser stations in the lobbies when passing See more

10.01.2022 National Reconciliation Week (#NRW) is a time for everyone in our country to learn about Australia's shared histories, cultures, and achievements. It's a time to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. On this journey, Australians are all #InThisTogether. This happens to be the #NRW2020 official theme and is now resonating in ways nobody could have foreseen with the impact of CV19. Every one of us has a role to play when it comes to ...reconciliation. In playing our part we collectively build relationships and communities that value Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, their histories and their cultures. With social distanding restrictions, Reconciliation Australia encourage everyone to think differently and creatively about activities and events. Where able, take your events online and join in social and digital media conversations.

10.01.2022 Today, we remember the armed forces who have sacrificed their lives for our nation. At 11am we observed a one-minute silence, with the playing of ‘The Last Post’ by a Bugler from the Royal Australian Navy, and a recital of "The Ode" by RSL NSW Board Director, Mr John Hutchinson. You can still donate to the Poppy Appeal Australia and receive a poppy for your lapel, here: https://poppyappeal.com.au/

08.01.2022 Theres nothing like our community coming together to meet a challenge head-on. Lendlease arranged for 24,000 Australian made toilet rolls to be donated to help the elderly, homeless and those in domestic violence shelters. With less demand for toilet paper in our office tower, and other Lendlease buildings across the country, it was a no brainer really! Great to be working with Wolf Washroom Products, Two Good Co. and The Exodus Foundation to make a difference.

07.01.2022 The team at Barangaroo Orthopaedic & Sports Injury Clinic are excited to welcome you back to their clinic! They specialise in providing remedial massage services to target tense muscles, that helps bring relief to the body: definitely worth considering for those experiencing chronic or ongoing pain. 07.01.2022 A smile can still travel 1.5 metres In order to keep our bike storage, towel service and locker systems operating, we need to keep physical distancing measures in place when using these End of Trip facilities. Our team has increased the frequency of cleaning and wipe downs of common touch points too. If you have any worries, just let a friendly face in our Concierge team know!

05.01.2022 This week, our committee group are talking about Wear it Purple! It's a way to show LGBTIQ+ young people that they are seen and supported. If you work in our Tower, our Wear It Purple committee have put together a great calendar of events, including virtual trivia and an author Q&A! Make sure you register for them on WorkLife. Sign up to WorkLife: https://its.myworklife.com.au

05.01.2022 Have you seen us in the Sydney skyline this week? All three International Towers have proudly been lit up in the colours of the Aboriginal flag in recognition of National Reconciliation Week. We are all #InThisTogether in Australia's reconciliation journey, and look forward to continuing to work to achieve a just, equitable and reconciled Australia. Reconciliation Australia #NRW2020

03.01.2022 The restaurant experience is coming back to Barangaroo! Many of our local favourites are opening their doors for dine-in With seats limited, we recommend to book in quick and enjoy a meal out to show them your support! These local legends include NOLA Smokehouse and Bar, Anason, Bel & Brio, Sharetea Barangaroo and more! Full list at The Streets of Barangaroo

03.01.2022 While many of us still visit the building during the week, we hope you've admired the 'Shadows' artwork that greets us all on the way in! This beauty by German artist Sabine Horing adorns our Towers' glass doors and windows. We love the homage to the Barangaroo history, and how it transforms the mundane activity of glancing through glass into something beautiful! It features the native flora of the local area: the strangler fig, banksia, angophora and the Gymea lily. Have you admired Horing's art on the entrances, exits and corners of our Tower?

02.01.2022 All the angles from this northern view today to remind us that where we work should be more than ordinary. Incredible architecture from Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners who designed our Tower and sibling buildings as an addition to our city's skyline. We never get tired of looking up when we come in each morning.
