16.01.2022 Hi I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly. My name is Megan and I grew up in a small cane farming town in North Queensland. I have lived on the Sunshine Coast here now just a tad under 10 years. What an incredible place it is too. I have three amazing children, twin boys Harley and Brady and their little sister Piper. ... I am actually a qualified high school teacher which I will always love and be grateful to have under my belt. The many years of rewards and challenges with students from all walks of life is something that not only changed me and my outlook on life, it made me resilient and patient with a wide range of acceptance and values. However, life changes in the blink of an eye sometimes and with it comes new challenges and new doors open. Starting my own business from scratch was a risk and scary indeed but as a single mumma I felt I needed to spend as much precious time with my children as I could while they were still young enough to need me. And as much I will always miss being in front a classroom full of keen faces hanging off your every word some days, it’s the best decision I could have ever made. I have worked really hard to ensure we have high standards of cleaning and ensure that any of my cleaners know exactly how much pride and value I place on the personal service and touches and caring about how they leave a persons home, ready for them to walk in after their own busy day. I love what I do, I cherish my cleaners and I am grateful for my clients who continuously refer my service to friends, colleagues and neighbours. This year has seen a massive boost in my client and staff base and I couldn’t be prouder if I tried. Not only am I keeping amazing, valuable and hard working people in jobs, I feel like we do actually make a difference in my clients lives. 15.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW... HANDY HACK! I go to many homes where clients have long term acidic rust type stains in the bottom of their toilet bowls. Sometimes it's from bore water, sometimes it just forms and build up over time from dirty water. And, nothing they use or do seems to shift it. ... Except, wait for it.... a few cans of COKE!! That's right. If you have problem stains in your toilet bowl, try this hack. 1. Empty as much water as you can from the bowl. 2. Pour at least 2 cans of COKE in the bottom of the bowl (or at least enough to cover the stain. 3. Leave overnight without flushing. You must leave overnight!!! 4. The next day scrub with your usual toilet brush. 5. Flush away the stain. Really stubborn stains may need a repeat but I promise this will eat away at that acid build up! Another little hint...forget about choosing your toilet brush for the style and look only. Every new toilet has a different shape bowl. 04.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW.... If you pour a cup of laundry detergent/softener in the tank of the toilet. The detergent will sink to the bottom and remain in the tank. Each time you flush, a sweet aroma will be released in the tank, and the whole bathroom will smell amazing; It will slowly dissolve and will last longer than any expensive toilet tablets.
