25.01.2022 Nice view of the city and the bush from one of today’s job. I cut two pigs at one job then on to another job to kill 7 goats and 5 pigs. Ended up only 6 goats as one escaped and took off.

25.01.2022 A few pictures from last weekend. I am now fully booked up until the end of May and part of June. If you wanting something in the freezer, it’s best to book soon rather than later.

24.01.2022 Needed a break this afternoon - so taught the customer’s nephew what to do! Not bad for a young man, always willing to share my knowledge with people who want to learn

18.01.2022 This is an old photo from when I was working in Canada. I leant a lot from working over there and would no be here I am today had I not visited ona work visa. This was just an average size bull elk. I did some bigger but they are not as big as the moose.

17.01.2022 A few phots from today.

17.01.2022 Had a huge day today starting with a 290kg dressed beef done by myself then off to kill 14 pigs with this 300kg + pig last. The scales only go to 300kg and it’s head was still on the ground when the scales hit the limit. I’m just glad the other 13 weren’t this big. Back to cut the pigs on Sunday- so much for a weekend off!

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just a reminder that its best to book me in well in advance of wanting the job done. Even if you aren’t thinking of getting an animal done for a couple of months best to pencil something in with me as time really does fly. I will always try and accommodate last minute requests but there are only so many jobs I can fit in a week. I hate to disappoint people so please book in advance.

13.01.2022 Made a few sausages today. About 300kg with 9 different flavours, on top of boning out two large sows. Lucky they have a big family and love sausages.

12.01.2022 5 beef hanging in the new cold- only a total of 571kgs but never before done 5 beef by myself before.

12.01.2022 Busy morning. I put 3 beef in two cold rooms totalling just over 750kg.

10.01.2022 The third cold room is on its way and will be ready for work soon. I’m not planning on running all 3 cold rooms every week and will try to keep one spare for emergency kills. But we will see how that works out. If you have a beef that need to be put down, give me and call and if I can help I will, by putting it in the freezer rather than a hole.

09.01.2022 Had a mate come to help me today- he normally works on movie sets so a bit of a change of scene for him! He made this little video of part our day cutting 5 pigs before going on to kill 5 beef. What. A. Day.

07.01.2022 After being asked by a few people for more meat I am going to do this again if anyone’s else is interested. It could be more or less than. $12/kg depending on the market but it will be quality meat cheaper than a butcher shop. Thanks

07.01.2022 The new cold room got a trial run by killing 5 pigs then coming back to cut them up and making a heap of sausages in return for putting the rails in. Thanks Michael Carter for the rails. Love your work.

05.01.2022 Hope everyone had a good Easter and stayed dry. I’ve been utterly flat out (even in the rain) but about to have some time off with the family. I’m all booked up for April and May isn’t far off so let me know now if your thinking of getting something done soon. This bull was from the last week and dressed at 404kgs - the splitting saw played up so had to finish it by hand saw. What a day.
