23.01.2022 Life is made so much easier and better with good access to water. We are rejoicing with the Marou community in Emao island Vanuatu as they’ve been able to install (by the sweat of their brow) new pipes that bring the water down from the mountain to the village (where there’s limited fresh water). Thanks to those who were part of the OSW giving towards this. There were other groups that took part - including a school in NSW. 16.01.2022 We are sad to announce the sudden passing this week into God’s Amazing Place of our dear Elaine McKenzie. Beloved despite being often misunderstood, she fiercely battled traumas too much to bear alone often citing her dear Father (Papa) God as her Saviour in all the tragedy. To the One Salt Water team who knew her, having travelled as a dual amputee no less than 5 times to Vanuatu, to the Lean family whom she considered her own, to her many friends and pikininis in the South Pacific, Mama Wini and Paps Palinga, we all bear the grief this week and for many more to come.
