16.01.2022 Heres a flashback to another project that began in September. As with all our film shoots, were very excited about this one - it began with transforming a room that normally has a different purpose altogether and required us to turn it into a mini film set - Im bursting to tell you more about it, but well have to be patient...

16.01.2022 Finally, the big night arrived - the world film premiere of the feature-length documentary, Conversations Beyond the Road, owned and commissioned by Bruce Sharman and Linda Massey. Our film-maker, cameraman. lighting and sound technician and editor, Gerald Ashcroft did a tremendous job and the estimated 100 plus crowd were impressed, engaged and moved by the powerful and human stories of the characters. Special thanks go to Producers, Bruce and Linda Sharman, all of the spo...nsors. Mitch for the drone footage, Nathan for the amazing music and Alex for being MC and event coordinator, the incredible cast, including Bruce and Linda again, Alex Marshall, Troy and Kate Pick and family, Jeff and Kerrie and family, Frank Davis and his amazing music, and Dr Jeremy Marriott. I almost forgot myself, Tony Inman, researcher, interviewer, assistant film-maker and Geralds general gofer! There were also numerous helpers and supporters along the way and I think everyone involved can feel rightfully proud of their efforts. The film highlights the importance of conversations to help bring out mens mental and physical health issues and lead to them taking action to seek the necessary help. Further strategically-situated local premieres will be advertised in due course to allow as many people as possible to have the opportunity to see this moving documentary.

The pre-production stage is the long part, but its getting very exciting. I cant reveal too much except to say that its a film about mens health awareness and it includes some real blokie footage!

06.01.2022 Im not going to post too many photos yet because I dont want to spoil your enjoyment of the documentary owned and commissioned by Bruce Sharman and Linda Massey on the topic of mens health, Conversations Beyond the Road. It will be available far and wide. After Friday nights premiere in Toodyay, Western Australia, Bruce and Linda are already discussing having screenings in Kalamunda, Fremantle, Joondalup and so on - all suggestions are welcome. Im delighted to report t...hat Executive Producers, Bruce Sharman and Linda Massey have been receiving not only accolades, but also stories of how this movie is already impacting people to help one another! To use modern-day vernacular, thats super-cool :-) Here are a few teasers that show why lots of people may have wondered where on Earth, my business partner, Gerald Ashcroft and I disappeared to for the last few months - weve been interviewing and filming like crazy from Fremantle to Northam. You dont want to know how many coffees we got through! Im so excited for Gerald that it was so well-received because he has edited his backside off for the last few weeks!
