23.01.2022 Merida was found (with her sibling Enola) living in the storage shed of a local pub. She was fit and healthy, but would literally tremble in fear when she saw a human. Fast forward 4 weeks and she now loves head scratches and purrs when she’s cuddled. She’s stunningly sleek, with the widest and most inquisitive eyes. She sometimes acts all big and brave, but actually what she really wants is just to settle into family life where she knows she will be safe and loved. Merid...a still has some stranger danger, so would be best suited to an adult only home, or one with older children where she can be given the time and space to build up her confidence. She hasn’t had much contact with other animals but her foster family anticipate she might be OK with a calm and well behaved dog who understands ‘cat respect’. 22.01.2022 Expressions of interest - foster mum writes Harley is super friendly- people, kids, cats, dogs - everyone is his friend. He’s also very chatty and isn’t shy to say that it’s time to pay attention to him. Miss Smith is growing more confident every day. She likes to play rough but as soon as our older cat wants to join in, Smith is a big chicken and runs away. She loves a pat and starts purring as soon as you pick her up. Margot is shy but starts purring as soon as she’s st...roked or picked up. She loves to wrestle and play with her siblings. She’s not a fan of the dogs (despite them being super respectful and gentle). She’s also reserved around our adult cats. She might be best suited to be homed with a sibling. Possum adoption pending is very playful. She is also very scared of the dogs but will actively chase them away or defend her ground (the dogs are pretty scared of her). 21.01.2022 Update on Ellie May and her kittens. This homeless girl had given birth in a suburban back yard and as you can see are thriving in care. Thank you to their dedicated carer Kirsty and family for helping this young mum and babies. Again we urge you to desex your pets.

21.01.2022 Twin kittens Peach and Mango are bonded sisters. They are slowly becoming more confident, but they still rely on each other for support. They will not be separated, and must to go to a home together, where they will remain together for life. They would be well suited to a quieter lifestyle, but we would also consider a home with older, pet savvy children. They know that humans mean safety and food, but they are still learning about pats snd cuddles. This will continue to imp...rove with patience, and understanding. They will need gentle handling, with lots of respect and reassurance. Their light coloured faces mean that they really need to be indoor only. 16.01.2022 Meet Buddy . How scared does he look in his pound photo . Surrendered due to not getting on with owners new puppy and beating it up. As you can see he is settling in well with us. He has been known to have seizures and is on phenomav twice a day to assist him. He will be looking for a new home where he can be spoiled and cared for. His favourite spot is on the couch curled up under his blanket . Loves his walks too . Quieter home seems to be best . He will be going as a single dog. Sadly this girl has been known about for over 2.5 years!!!! Sadder still these are her fifth litter!!! Sadder than that is some have been known to completely disappear ... foxes? Toms? Also she suffered an horrific injury when spotted in October and has lost her front leg !!! Dissapeared for some time and returned with these bundles in tow!!! How absolutely sad has her life been. 09.01.2022 Today is the start of a new life for this sweet boy. Sadly due to dementia of his owner this boy has ended up in this condition. His weight is 3.2 kg and vets have said his ideal weight should be 4.5kg . His lack lustre coat is indicative of poor diet as is the state of his teeth. He is also still entire. Many small meals and a bath or two over the next few days in preparation for desexing and teeth clean on Monday. He is not up for adoption at this time. Please do not apply. This is to introduce and his welfare and healing is what we are dealing with first,

Koda is a gorgeous 2 year old, staffy X with lots of love to give! Koda is a sweet boy with a huge heart. He is extremely energetic so will needs lots of toys to play with (he absolutely loves tennis balls!) and daily walks. But at the end of the day when it’s time to relax, Koda loves to curl up in a ball and cuddle u...p next to his furever person. Koda is extremely well mannered, and will sit and wait for his dinner until told and is also toilet trained. Koda is desexed, microchipped and fully up to date with vaccinations. He can’t wait to meet his person to give all his love and to find his furever home! Best suited to a home that has a dedicated owner happy to continue training and lots of exercise. And, just like the character Enola (in Sherlock Holmes) she's smart, insightful and adaptable. Enola likes to have people around her... and cries if she's left on her own for too long. But, she still has some stranger danger, so would be best suited to an adult only home, or one with older children where she can be given the time and space to build up her confidence. 02.01.2022 Dante loves people. 11 years . Very vocal and demanding of attention so someone patient. Indoor plus excellent outdoor enclosure would be greatly appreciated by this fine young man. Good with respectful dogs. Likely prefer only cat home ... loves a neck massage and a chat or two or three ! Loving his raw food that’s for sure! Foster mum thinks he would a single person or couple that are home a lot to give him the attention he craves. He can get grumpy if you Pat him too ...much but he gives clear warning signs.
