23.01.2022 For all clients who would like to know! I've been getting a few questions regarding massage and the re-opening of my business. As of 17th April, NSW government finally clarified to the Association of Professional Therapists that remedial massage IS an essential service. Yay!... This then left a moral inquiry - is it still right to go into people's houses to conduct mobile massage while we were still in lockdown? Can I apply the necessary disinfection procedures to safeguard myself and the clients I visit from the virus? After debating long and hard, I decided the answer was no. Therefore, mobile massage was not a viable option. In collaboration with Pure Hair and Body, I have been able to set in place a clinical setting where I can provide treatments for a single client at a time, I can properly sanitize and disinfect my work station, and launder used linens and dispose of single use covers instantly. For the foreseeable future until this pandemic is well and truly over, I will not be offering mobile services. I will be offering Remedial massage only. Contact 0447155741 for more information.
