19.01.2022 Are you a high-schooler that wants to work in a computer shop? Do you watch buildzoid's youtube videos? Now's your chance! Put bluntly, I'm looking for someone to sort/organise the giant clusterf*** that my storage is slowly becoming and list the random junk on eBay & stuff like that. I'm sure I could get someone to do it for free, but I like to think I'm not that terrible. If the work was more exciting, I might consider a free intern, but this stuff's way too boring to be do...ne for free. You don't have to slave over a grill or deal with the general public, and you get to ask me all the tech questions you ever want. Ideal for high-schoolers that have half days and afternoons free. If we happen to grow to like you and you show potential to be a young hardware god, then you -might- get to move on to more exciting things like building computers etc.. We're pretty 'chill' here, but if you get easily offended, it might not be the place for you. You need very good personal hygiene and to be well presented. I'll add more details here if I think it's necessary. Resume's aren't really important. You're a high-schooler, I get that you haven't got any experience doing anything. I don't care too much about your grades, as long as your maths is decent and your english is very good. Poor spelling/grammar in very simple situations -really- rustles my jimmies. I'm not perfect, but I don't have to be, I'm the boss :P This will be a fairly long-term and on-going thing, and pay-rises are on the cards as you become more useful. HOW DO I APPLY? Send me a Facebook message with your computer hardware knowledge/interests. Anything you might have done that others probably haven't. Get particularly specific. "I helped my brother build his computer once" isn't going to get you in. Telling me how you overclocked your RAM and tightened your timings for a better 3DMark score will. If you get the idea, then you're probably suitable. Yes, it's award (minimum) wage, but I'm happy to pay you more if/when you get better at what you do (y)

13.01.2022 In today's news, the Acting Sargent of Ipswich Police got everything sorted with the owners of next door. The place is being boarded up a heap more and they're cleaning a lot of it up. Points to the chap, was really impressive that he managed to get so much done so quickly. I figure he probably hadn't been made aware of the situation, and now he has, he's not dicking around. I like it (y)

09.01.2022 3 cars to drag away a 10 year old kid when they can't remove the crack zombies from the building next to to us that keep stealing our power, leaving their needles everywhere and trashing the place. 02.01.2022 I've contacted Queensland Police Service no less than 11 times regarding the crack zombies next door stealing our power, leaving needles around, breaking through our gate and dumping rubbish on our stairwell. They've done nothing. We have Aircon guys climbing on the roof that are worried they'll get zapped and killed because there's bare 240v wires laying on our metal roof. If one of them dies, I guess the police might finally be interested. We're not publicly inciting violen...ce, because that would be the wrong thing to do... If anyone would to remove them, the 'removalists' will be rewarded accordingly. I'm done. Hey Mayor Teresa Harding - Ipswich City Council, can you please do something? edit: Police attended today, they're going to try to get permission and a key to get into the building from the owners. Said that even if they get a key, probably can't go in there because of the amount of needles and other crap making it an unsafe workplace.
