24.01.2022 We're editing up a storm at One Fun Thing this weekend. Ben's zooming through some freelance editing work, while I'm rough cutting last weekend's wedding - #teamwork I've given myself a brand new title of "junior editor" as I wade into the editing world. 21.01.2022 One Fun Thing is based on the idea that everyone should do at least one fun thing every day. That's even more important right now, even though we can't do much filming at the moment! So, because sharing is caring, we've been walking through a dog park near our home most days so we can see the dogs having an epic time together Your turn. What are some of the fun things you're doing at the moment?... P.S. I think the below look likes a lot of fun too

20.01.2022 Still wondering if you should get a wedding videographer? Here's something for the numbers people out there I won't get into the technicalities, but the final video you receive will generally be 25 frames per second. 1 frame effectively = 1 photo. So, in a 4 minute highlight reel - 25 frames x 60 seconds in a minute x 4 minutes = 6000. That's 6,000 photos!!... 6 minutes = 9,000 8 minutes = 12,000!! AND they also include music and speeches and laughter and movement. AND that's just the highlights reel! We'll also give you a full length ceremony video!

18.01.2022 My dad sent me this photo the other day. It's of my grandma's (his mother's) wedding in approx 1952 and is the only photo he's ever seen of both of his grandmothers together. My grandad (his father) has long since passed away, along with many of the others in this photo, making it now so precious. I can't help but wish there was some video from these amazing occasions, which is why Ben and I are so honoured to do what we do - Rach

06.01.2022 "This is kind of crazy..." After the new Melbourne lockdowns were announced on Tuesday, we got a call from Praveen and Monica. We were supposed to be filming and live streaming their ceremony on the 18th, but with weddings being reduced from 20 people to 5 at midnight the next day, time was of the essence. "This is kind of crazy... and we totally understand if you can't do it..." Ben retold the story of his conversation with Praveen, minutes after the announcements. "But we'r...e thinking of getting married tomorrow afternoon..." Ben was immediately on the phone to check that we could get everything lined up and we were able to say YES within a few hours. We filmed and live streamed their ceremony yesterday afternoon, less that 24 hours after the call. But it wasn't just us. The church, Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Williamstown, the photographer, the guests etc all jumped on board to get this beautiful couple hitched! We'll always do what we can for our couples, especially right now when so many tough decisions are being made. Praveen and Monica, congratulations! They become friends, fall in love and now they join their lives with an awesome day with family from all over the world. 04.01.2022 We're dusting off the cameras and getting prepped for a massive month (and year) at One Fun Thing! And a diverse one! Did you know that we work in a heap of other areas, as well as filming spectacular weddings? This month, we're working with Climb West Melbourne and Pole & Aerial Divas Richmond, we're also filming an awesome show at Theatre Works, Ben's involved with the Australian Open, AND we've got three weddings!
