24.01.2022 Happy Easter everyone Don’t forget we have our monthly Sunday service at Green Park starting at 6pm. We will be back to serving dinner on plates (finally after 12 months) and have some great things on the menu. I’ll be making a sticky date pudding as requested by some patrons last night and will bring in some ice cream to serve with it and there are lots of Easter Eggs to give away as well Hope to see you there... 21.01.2022 We had our Christmas services last night at Darlinghurst and Surry Hills. Our patrons enjoyed an incredible variety of food including roast chicken and vege, pasta and fried rice. Lots of salads were also on offer as was fresh fruit. Desserts were carrot cake, yoghurts, apple cake and cream and plum pudding and custard. We had an abundance of fresh vege from Foodbank which was given out to some very grateful patrons at Ward Park. The amazing Darlo Darlings provided some min...i pantry packs with a lot of treats as well. Each patron was also given a Christmas gift which they loved receiving. Thank you to Parliament on King, Infinity Bakery and Pizza Autentico for your amazing donations. We hope you enjoy your break. Thank you to GIVIT for the gift vouchers. Very much appreciated. 19.01.2022 Well another weekend of services is done and dusted with 238 patrons joining us over the 3 services. We went back to serving meals on plates for Sunday service which our patrons enjoyed. Especially being able to sit and have a chat with us and each other again. Once again they enjoyed an amazing array of meals and desserts as well as fruit, yoghurts, lots of baked treats and of course patrons received a bag of Easter Eggs. Thanks as always to Pizza Autentico, who even thoug...h they closed for the weekend for a well deserved break still arranged for 2 trays of their amazing lasagne to be collected on Thursday, cooked and bought to the park on Saturday. 19.01.2022 It was a very chilly and windy night but we still had over 160 join us for dinner at both Green and Ward Parks They enjoyed tuna pasta, egg salads, pulled pork, Alfredo pasta bake and lots more. Desserts were well received with chocolate pudding with custard, apple cake and cream and other treats being very popular. Lots of fruit and yoghurts as well as mini pantry packs and breakfast packs being given out. Thanks as always to Pizza Autentico, Darlo Darlings, Infinity Bakery..., Parliament on King, Doggos of Surry Hills and Mark the Florist (who is a collection point for the mini pantry packs) for your donations and support. 17.01.2022 A busy evening last night at both Green and Ward Parks with around 100 patrons joining us for dinner. They were happy to receive a delicious array of food including pastas, chicken stew, egg or chicken salads and so much more. 14.01.2022 Good morning all Just a reminder that we will be at Green Park this evening food for our monthly Sunday service starting at 6pm. We have stuffed sausages, roast lamb, lasagne from our friends at Pizza Autentico , potato bake, desserts and so much more. Hope to see you there Jackie and the One Meal Team.

10.01.2022 Another busy Saturday evening with around 160 joining us between both parks. They enjoyed a huge variety of meals with sausage hot pot, chicken and roast vege, pasta bake, tuna pasta, fish cakes and so much more being on the menu. Desserts were plentiful as were a variety of fresh fruit and yoghurts. Thanks as always to Pizza Autentico, Parliament On King and Infinity Bakery Darlinghurst for your continued donations and support. Thanks also to the Darlo Darlings who continu...e to provide our patrons with mini pantry packs which they really appreciate and Mark from Mark the Florist for being a collection point and our regular donators of amazing meals Victoria, Fiona and Diane. Thanks to Lisa and Sally from Doggos of Surry Hills for making sure our patrons furry friends are taken care of. We also had a visit from a gentleman who collapsed at one of our services last week and was assisted by one of our volunteers Paula who is a registered nurse. He came to let us know that he was ok after having a cardiac procedure on Tuesday and to thank our incredible volunteers for their help until the paramedics arrived. Was great to hear everything went well for him. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we really do have the best volunteers around!!! Well done team!! 09.01.2022 Around 90 patrons joined us for dinner on Saturday evening at Green and Ward Parks. They enjoyed a huge array of hot meals and salads as well as desserts. A special thanks to Aldi and their Food Rescue Program. We were able to collect an abundance of fruit including mangoes, peaches, grapes and lychees, also bread and fresh vegetables. Our patrons certainly appreciated the extra help this week. Special mention to Meg Raphael who team led for the first time. Great job Meg. So glad you joined us. On behalf of the Board of Directors we would like to thank everyone for their support through a most different year. We hope everyone has a very Happy and Safe New Year. See you all in 2021.

09.01.2022 A bit of a slower night this evening with 35 patrons joining us for dinner at our monthly Sunday service. They enjoyed butter chicken, beef in black bean sauce, stuffed sausages, roast lamb, potato bake, chicken, sausages with pita bread and lots of veges. We also received a freshly made lasagne from Pizza Autentico. Lots of our patrons had seconds and take aways were given as well. Desserts were a variety of cakes that went down well with our patrons. Many thanks to St George Rotary Next Gen for your amazing donation of 100 meals and volunteers to help serve last night. Very much appreciated. Thanks also to Jonny from Pizza Autentico, Parliament on King and Infinity Bakery Darlinghurst for your continued support and incredible meals and treats that come each and every week. Th...anks also to Lisa and Sally from Doggos of Surry Hills for the much welcomed pet food for our furry friends. Thank you to our volunteers for a great weekend. Lots of laughs and chats with our patrons as well which they enjoy. When I took our van back to the Council Depot at Woollahra, we came across this gorgeous Kookaburra just chilling out. 01.01.2022 Appreciation post I would like to thank GIVIT for their generous donation of Coles vouchers which enabled us to purchase enough Easter Eggs for our patrons. Those patrons who wished to receive them were very appreciative and I’m sure will enjoy the chocolate treats inside. Thank you also to my daughter Amanda who made up the bags.
