20.01.2022 Covid-19 - UPDATE It appears that the government (at least at this stage) is allowing Osteopaths to continue working. I want to be able to SAFELY help as many of you as I can. I will continue working (as long as permitted) to deliver Mobile Osteopathic services for you and your loved ones (furry and otherwise ). I will only arrive at your premises if I have absolutely no sysmptoms of ill-health at all.... To further minimise risk of virus spread: - Regular hand washing - Hands further sterilised with 75% ethanol and tea tree oil - I will be wearing a face mask - Treatment bench disinfected with Viraclean before and after every patient - Where possible we can treat you outside (weather permitting - or reschedule) - Please call ahead of my arrival if you have a sore throat, fever, cough or generally feel unwell, so we can discuss rescheduling your appointment Above all we need to remember to try to minimise stress, maintain a healthy immune system and continue to breath deep and utilise your diaphragm. 17.01.2022 Would Osteopathy help you and your horse perform better? Recently Cav and Neely had a couples massage from Grant Kemlo at One Osteopathy. Cav has been suffer...ing from navicular syndrome and has become very tight and sore in the shoulders and neck as a result. Neely also gets very tight and sore in the neck and shoulders from driving and sitting in front of a computer. This can affect movement and overall health and wellbeing for the horse and rider which will affect how the horse and rider perform. Osteopathy can detect and remedy areas of restricted movement and help to remedy those restrictions through massage, stretching, and manipulation. This enables horses and riders to communicate together more smoothly through shared balance and wellbeing thus improving the quality of riding. 04.01.2022 This is a very difficult time for everyone. The clinic is remaining open for the foreseeable future. All staff have completed their Infection control COVID 19 T...raining from the Department of Health. If you, or someone you live with or care for, fall into the vulnerable category (Older person, existing heart or lung condition, diabetes, cancer and chemotherapy)then please call us to reschedule your appointment. Considering the current situation, we have implemented the following. 1. If you have been travelling overseas in the last 14 days, been in close contact with a suspected or known case of COVID 19, then we cannot treat you at the clinic. You should be self isolated. 2. The front door is propped open, please come in and use the hand sanitiser on the front desk. 3. All visitors to the clinic must have their temperature taken on arrival. 4. We are booking appointments with at least 30 minutes between to avoid any crossing over with patients. 5. This also allows for the clinic to have a proper clean between each patient with Viraclean. 6. Due to the proximity of the practitioners, we will be wearing masking during the treatment. 7. We will not be requiring signatures for HICAPS receipts. If you have any questions, please give reception a call.
