17.01.2022 #farewelllovelies *** This was me in 2016 making costume jewellery. Ive come a long way in 4 years but as of tonight I have officially made the decision to quit jewellery. Its a relief to write those words but at the same time a few tears appear. I gave it a good go, I did my best.. but its bloody difficult! Hats off to all you metalsmiths and jewellers out there. Youre truly amazing!!! I know how hard you work, the struggles, the frustration, the exhaustion.. the addic...tive passion. Unfortunately Im really just not very good at it... its true! I find it incredibly difficult and its taking way too much of my time away from the family and from me. Ive never been a quitter but I know when Ive been beat. Time now to get my house in order and help grow my husbands new enterprise. Its taken me a long time to get to this point but thankfully Im finally here.
