25.01.2022 OneSails dominates the West Australian IRC State Championships Division 1! Peter Chappells Fred Barrett Yacht Design & Naval Architecture Pty Ltd. "The Cadillac" powered by a full inventory of ONESAILS - www.onesails.com was well sailed by a very skilled team and won the Championship which comprised of 4 Windward / Leeward Races and 2 Passage Races. I engaged the OneSails team when I started the design process of building the Cadillac. Paul and his team have been a big pa...rt of the optimisation of the boat and our success. The sails are superb and we are thrilled with our win said an excited Peter. Second was Craig Carters Carkeek 47 Indian which even though optimised and configured for Offshore Racing was impressive on the short courses. Craig added These sails have done a Sydney Hobart, some big deliveries, a full season of very successful Blue Water Championship racing and now another half season of offshore racing. To be competitive in an Inshore IRC Championship against boats especially optimised for around the cans inshore is a testament to OneSails 4T technology and the durability of these sails. Well done to all OneSails Australasia customers and competitors for the excellent racing and all staff, volunteers and friends of the Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club and The Cruising Yacht Club of W.A. 17.01.2022 A wild and windy weekend in Tasmania! 32 knots of wind for the team on Elan Yachts S4 Frontline with a reefed 4T FORTE mainsail and reefed jib sheeted outboard. Owner Ian reported "The boat was powering along at 12 knots and very stable!"

15.01.2022 Our Vektor2 machine has been working hard this week laying down almost 9 kilometres of fibre! These membranes are 100% Australian Made Campaign and feature continuous fibres for uninterrupted load distribution throughout the sail. The fibre of choice for this weeks membranes is UHMWPE (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight Polyethylene). 06.01.2022 Our skilled Sailmakers do more than just build quality sails! In this case while measuring for a new Bavaria Yachts 38 Mainsail they identified the backstay system was ineffective and the reefing lines were perished due to UV damage. On fitting the new mainsail and lazy bag the team replaced the perished lazyjacks, reefing lines and spliced custom strops to improve reefing performance. 02.01.2022 We were delighted to supply new sails to the recently restored Spacesailer 27 Class 'King Canute' which has now returned to South of Perth Yacht Club. Contender Sailcloth CDX performance cruise laminate will deliver excellent performance for club racing and also cruising. The restorations were carried out by Bay Marine, a re-rig by Boating Hardware and electronics by Clough Marine Electronics. 02.01.2022 OneSails Australasia Perth loft were delighted to design, manufacture and commission new sails on the Aristocat 2 Cruises 18 meter catamaran at Monkey Mia, Western Australia. In replacing the existing sails we went to considerable lengths in the design and specification to provide more efficient sails with better sail handling and reefing systems. This boat sails 7 days a week with up to 3 charters per day! Contender Sailcloth Fibercon 9.38 and 6.46 was chosen for the two ply... mainsail and jib and WeatherMax for the UV Protection. ANTAL headboard perfectly matched the Ronstan Sailing head car, RBS Battens was the only choice for this extreme environment and the custom taper matched the sail design perfectly. The Wichard FRX25 friction rings made reefing very easy and separated the reefing lines from the leech of the sail to minimise chaff. All systems were subjected to the ultimate test - the first charter we saw 35 knots and had 2 reefs in the main!
