21.01.2022 Well well well, what a year (FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE) We will be celebrating our first year as the new owners of the OTHgs Next weekend (1st sat in the month) ‘also market day’ ... Our first birthday will start with a FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE and also meat taste tempter’s from the best meat on earth Kamcheyenne limosin being served up by Sarah and John, We will also do random giveaways at any moment ! Rachel Brad and Matt and of course our fantastic crew Sarah P, Sarah D Zalia and Maddy, would absolutely love to thank this community for their not only accepting us, but truly welcoming us to the community ! (Very humbling) The sausages will start sizzling at 9-10.30 and no cost at all, however if you like your welcome to donate and we will have the OTH CFS donation box there (every cent go’s to our most wonderful CFS) Whilst you enjoy one of our kamcheyenne beef sausages Feel free to go across the road to the OTH markets Free entry and a large range of all sorts of things ! 19.01.2022 Hi Everyone We just got a tag from a company on FB called Adelaide cheaper fuels ... We were called greedy and I responded with the following. Once it gained some traction on social media they pulled the post rather rapidly. This is my response to what they had said (Ps sorry it’s a little long, but anyone who knows me, knows I’m long story long ) Cheap Fuel Adelaide Terminal gate price is correct ! Now I’d like to suggest that all of the following is accounted for ! Please take note and remember that we are not affiliated with anyone and are completely 100% independent. 1. We pay for fuel at the terminal price 2. We pay for delivery (at a higher rate due to only ordering small amounts as our landlord will not increase the capacity of our small tanks. 3. We pay a few hundred dollars a year to pay the checks and measures people to make sure we give the correct amount of fuel Eg 1 litre equates to 1000ml We are set above that so for every litre you pay for you get above as I do not want to rip anyone off . 4. I pay the same licence fee to sell fuel as other stations do and of note clearly have only 1 pump 5. I pay a licence fee to store fuel in my tanks 6. I pay insurance just in case I inadvertently sell some bad fuel 7. I pay extra to my insurance company because I now sell what’s classed as a dangerous good . 8. I have had to outlay extra to make sure I have the appropriate signage and spill kits plus extinguisher etc etc 9. I pay the electricity that pumps the fuel every time someone wants fuel. 10. Now the kicker, I have to pay my staff an extra $2 per hour regardless of their role within my company because we sell fuel. Now this adds up to over $900 per week just for point 10. Please explain how a small outlet like ours can make a dollar out of selling fuel? In fact it actually costs me money to sell fuel, however more than happy to help our local community when they need $2 or $10 of fuel May I point out that we also sell a lot of fuel to several companies within the area and they do not begrudge buying at a slightly higher price as they know that we need to make money to survive and before we bought the place it had not sold fuel for over a year The locals accept that we cannot compete with the nationals and multinationals ! Thankyou for allowing me to respond to the post that suggested we were greedy Thanks also for your time in reading my response and also allowing me to respond and keeping my response open for all the public to see what’s behind the scenes ! 17.01.2022 Just to let everyone know That this Sunday we shall again be taking part in the Dawn service at the one tree hill institute. Then once completed we will be open for people to buy a coffee etc till approx 9.30am Then we will close for the rest of Sunday and of course Monday as that is a public holiday too. ... Sorry for any disruption But as you all know by now We close on all public holidays. Thankyou again for all your understanding !

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, just an update and reminder please When you come into the store We have a QR code as you walk in or a sign in register, For everyone’s sake please use the system as it’s intended. ... Some businesses have been fined for patrons not signing in. None of us need to contribute extra to the state coffers ! Thanks again We appreciate all our customers and Thankyou for your understanding on this process

From our understanding we are now only allowed to sell pre-packaged food Etc We can at the moment NOT serve Takeaways This includes our most wonderful coffee(sorry) Also extends to the likes of takeaway Hot foods Cakes Pies pasties etc We will as best we can still supply Milk Bread grocery lines Our massive packets of crisps and also a new stock line
