04.02.2022 We had the absolute privilege of holding a wedding service in the gardens at the church on Wednesday evening this past week (yes, just before the lockdown!). Sarah and Steve declared their love for one another, and exchanged vows and promises, before God and their family and friends. Yes, it was a smaller gathering than they had planned and hoped for. Nonetheless, it was still a beautiful time of seeing this wonderful couple commit themselves to one another for life!... Sarah and Steve: thank you so much for allowing us to be part of this special time with you! May God richly bless your marriage, and your new life together!

23.01.2022 Choose Kindness always <3

20.01.2022 It was great to see the church full again today (in compliance with COVID guidelines!) as we continued the sermon series called 'Chosen'. The series is based on the New Testament letter, 1 Peter, written by the apostle Peter (one of the 12 disciples). We particularly looked at 1 Peter 2: 1-10 this morning, focusing on the two reasons why the series is called 'Chosen': 1. The word reflects who Jesus is.... 2. The word reflects who we are (if we believe in Jesus). 1 Peter is a letter filled with hope, encouragement and comfort. Have a read of 1 Peter (only 5 chapters) to find out why! It was also great to see kids church back this morning. The group spent some time reading the Old Testament story of Jonah, with lots of interesting discussions and questions occurring! Every blessing to you for the week ahead!

16.01.2022 a song to encourage you today! 'The grave has lost its hold Arise the stone is gone Our God reigns forevermore...'... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-WeGCw3QCc

15.01.2022 We were really blessed to share last Sunday's service with local family Lauren, Kane and their awesome one year old son Spencer. This was a 'thanksgiving and blessing service', during which we joined Lauren and Kane in giving thanks to God for Spencer, and to pronounce God's blessing (grace and favour) over Spencer and his life. It was such a privilege to share such a special time with this young family. A big thank you to Lauren, Kane and Spencer for blessing us with this time together. And a big thank you to God for, among other things, the gift of new life!

09.01.2022 It was wonderful to see the church doors open again this morning, as we gathered to worship our amazing God! And it was such a blessing and encouragement to see all of the seats taken (and some overflow into the morning tea area)! Thanks to all who have been involved in getting the church ready for today's service, and those who helped set up and clean the church. Today couldn't have happened without you. We are also looking forward to a couple of infant blessings over the ne...xt month, which will be additional encouragement in the life of the church. Ultimately, we are thankful to God for His grace in providing the opportunity for us to gather this morning. The message this morning was entitled 'certainty in the uncertainty', a reminder of the sure and certain hope that we have in Jesus Christ, in the midst of COVID19. Quoting from the prophet Jeremiah in Lamentations 3: 22-23: 'Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.'

08.01.2022 It was great to see most chairs taken at the service this morning, a fantastic effort given that it is school holidays, a long weekend, clocks being changed, and with impending rain! Well done to those who made it! We started a new sermon series called 'Chosen'. It is based on the New Testament letter, 1 Peter. This letter was written by the apostle Peter (one of the 12 disciples) to the persecuted and scattered church, around 64AD. It's a letter that has a lot to say to us ...today (particularly about hope), as we go through our own struggles, trials and difficulties. We particularly looked at 1 Peter 1: 1-9 this morning, and we will continue to explore the rest of the letter between now and Christmas. One of the main takeaways from this morning's message was that 'sure and certain hope' becomes a reality when we know these things: 1. You are known by God 2. You are chosen by God 3. God has given you new life 4. God has given you a heavenly inheritance If you want some encouragement and comfort in the midst of your own life journey, have a read of 1 Peter (only 5 chapters). And be blessed!

07.01.2022 We have the privilege again this Sunday of welcoming another young local family into our midst, for a child thanksgiving and blessing service. We are so looking forward to giving thanks to God for the gift of new life, and to pronounce God's blessing over this family! And there will again be bakery items to enjoy after the service! Hope you can join us for this very special Sunday service!

06.01.2022 We're particularly looking forward to this Sunday, as we welcome a young local family for an infant thanksgiving/blessing service. What a privilege to be able to share this time with this family! And there will again be bakery items to enjoy after the service (hopefully heaps of donuts!). So that is a double 'woo hoo'! See you there!
