06.01.2022 I got frequently asked how to care for the lashes at home so I decided to answer it here. A little goes a long way so there are few easy simple steps that can keep your natural lashes healthy for longer. Never underestimate the POWER OF CLEANSING the lashes in the morning and evening. Remove the makeup/mascara using the products that work best for your eyes/skin. It could be micellar water; eye makeup remover; cleansing milk etc.... TIP: be gentle when removing makeup and never rub the lashes too hard. NOURISH THE LASHES with active serums/oils/conditioners at least once a day. There are a lot of different options these days but be careful when picking the product, do a research, ask for a professional advice and consider your own allergies/sensitivity. Castor oil; olive oil; almond oil; peach oil are very good for the lash health and strength; they prevent hair loss and help the lashes get their best potential in growing. TIP 1: add a drop of oil into your everyday mascara and keep the lashes healthy throughout the day TIP 2: some great lash conditioners might work as a primer underneath mascara which also keeps lashes moisturised and healthy as well as giving them an extra length and thickness. Shape with an eyebrow stencil If going freehand with your eyebrow products feels a bit unsure for you, you should try using an EYEBROW STENCIL (swipe for examples) - like a little template that you stick or hold on top of your brows to prevent you from colouring outside of the lines of your brows with your powders, pencils or gels. They come in a ton of shapes and sizes and they are also a great way to experiment with new looks, like a bolder brow, a straight one etc. TIP No.4 APPLY your brow products with a flicking motion (check out my previous post with the selection of great eyebrow products) Please DO NOT fill in your brows with one single, heavy-handed strike of any product. Tiny, hairlike strokes are the goal here, so you will want to use small flicking motions - whether you use a powder and an angled brush, or a basic pencil - in the direction of your hair growth to get the most realistic-looking result.
