23.01.2022 Ok so we finally get a mention lol! Tennis is still banned! Seems a bit unfair when outdoor pools can open and personal trainers are allowed. We social distance as a sport but still banned.

23.01.2022 First day back

21.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE (PARTIAL RE-OPENING) 21 OCTOBER 2020 Dear members, We hope that you are well and staying safe during the COVID-19 lockdown. Last Sunday the Vi...ctorian Government announced an easing of restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne, including the limited return of outdoor tennis coaching and recreational play. As a tennis club, we have to comply with not only the requirements of the State Governmentt & DHHS, but also Brimbank Council, Sport and Recreation Victoria, and Tennis Victoria, and also obtain approval from Council before reopening. For the time being tennis can resume in a limited capacity with the following restrictions in order to reopen the club in an approved COVID Safe manner: Outdoor courts can reopen for the following: One to one coaching No more than 10 persons at the club at any one time, we have therefore limited member bookings to Court 3 and Court 4 for singles play only, to allow for the coaching program. All other programs and competition activity remain closed until further notice, including no casual non-member bookings being permitted. Tennis equipment must not be shared All indoor facilities remain closed this includes club houses/rooms Accordingly, the club has been permitted to open 2 courts for use for members for singles play only. Courts 3 and 4 will be open on the Court Booking System for member bookings. The other courts will be set aside for 1 on 1 coaching. Please also make note of the following requirements: 1. Unless an exception applies, you must wear a face mask when entering and leaving the club. This means continue to wear a mask before playing tennis, remove the mask whilst on court playing tennis, and then put the mask back on after you finish playing tennis. 2. Social distancing must be practiced, keep 1.5 meters apart, even when wearing a mask. 3. No social gatherings, no spectators. The Tennis Club can only be used for playing Tennis, and stick to your booking time. Remember, Get In - Play - Get Out to allow others to use the courts. 4. Members are not permitted to bring non-members to the club. 5. When booking a court, enter the two names of the players, to assist with contact tracing. Please note that a breach of COVID restrictions could result in you receiving a fine, and members deliberating doing the wrong thing can expect sanctions from the club, including the suspension and/or cancellation of membership. We therefore ask members for their cooperation in complying with the above requirements so that we can all continue to use our tennis club in a safe manner. We would like to take this opportunity thank everyone for their cooperation and patience thus far during these challenging times. We are hopeful that we will be able to reopen our club further at the start of November, pending further announcements from the State Government. Thank you The Committee Green Gully Tennis Club

04.01.2022 Hi all- great news that tennis is able to open up again. Unfortunately we will have to wait for advice from Tennis Victoria, Brimbank Council and the tennis club committee to find out what rules need to be put in place to re commence. Hopefully this will take no longer than one to two days but we will keep you posted to when we can open up again officially. We would love to open up tomorrow, but we must wait for approval and see how many people etc can be in the facility at any one time and how many per court etc. We are excited to be able to start up again and thanks again to everyone for your patience. See you soon yay!!

01.01.2022 Hi Everyone, The injustice of tennis not being re-opened as of new restrictions is not fair and not right, sign this petition to fight against the governments ruling and also share around!
