25.01.2022 Emergency services are calling for public assistance to help identify the owner of a Kayak that was found on rocks in Gordon's Bay. The serial number of the boat is 31350 Emergency services have not yet confirmed the welfare of the owner.... If anyone has information about the owner of the boat, they are asked to contact NSW Police urgently.

25.01.2022 Three people have been treated by NSW Ambulance after two vehicles collided on the intersection of Anzac Parade and Franklin St Matraville at 6.30am today. It's understood one person was transported to hospital in a stable condition with another two being treated on scene. NSW Police are investigating the cause of the incident.

25.01.2022 Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command are appealing for public help as they continue to search for a man missing from Sydney’s east.

24.01.2022 A man aged in his seventies has drowned today in Redleaf ocean pool at Double Bay. NSW Ambulance and Hatzolah community first responders worked to save the patient, however he passed away at the scene. A specialist medical rescue helicopter arrived to assist.... 19.01.2022 Two cars have been destroyed after a suspicious fire in Bellevue Hill overnight. Just before midnight, a car was found engulfed in flames in Suttie Rd. Fire crews arrived and contacted police to investigate. It's understood the heat and flames caused significant damage to second parked car.... 18.01.2022 Police are appealing for public assistance to find a woman missing from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Melissa Caddick, aged 49, was last seen at a home on Wallang...ra Road, Dover Heights, after midnight last Thursday (12 November 2020). Police have been told she may have left the home about 5.30am the same day, and she has not been seen or heard from since. Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified on Friday (13 November 2020), and commenced investigations into her whereabouts. Despite an extensive search of the area, Melissa has not been located and concerns are held for her welfare. Melissa is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of slim build, with long brown hair. At the time she was wearing a black singlet top and leggings, and silver ‘Nike’ sneakers. She did not take any money, mobile or personal possessions with her. 18.01.2022 A woman has been charged after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s east overnight. About 1.40am today (Saturday 21 November 2020), emergency services were called to a home at Drumalbyn Road, Bellevue Hill, and found a 22-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.... Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident. A 55-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was arrested at the home and taken to Waverley Police Station. She has now been charged with wound person intend to cause grievous bodily harm (DV). She’s been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court tomorrow (Sunday 22 November 2020). A knife was seized at the scene and has been taken for forensic examination. 16.01.2022 Fire crews extinguished a garage fire in Strachan street Kingsford at around 7.15pm this evening. Fire fighters brought the blaze under control and a 14 year old girl was assessed by NSW Ambulance for smoke inhalation. 04.01.2022 POLICE INVESTIGATE ALLEGED JAIL DRUG DRONE OPERATION Police have released CCTV vision of two men, and are appealing for information, after a drone carrying prescription drugs was located near a correctional facility in Sydney’s east earlier this year. About 10am on Sunday 7 June 2020, a member of the public found a drone on the road on Zion Avenue at Malabar, which was taken to Maroubra Police Station.... A package attached to the drone was found to contain buprenorphine, a SIM card and other electronic items. Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command commenced an investigation into the location of the drone and prescription drugs. As inquiries continue, detectives have released CCTV vision of two men and are appealing for anyone with information about their identities to come forward. One man depicted in the CCTV is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his mid to late 20’s, with a small build and short dark hair. He is depicted wearing a black Asics jumper and grey track pants and carrying a black shoulder bag and two shopping bags. The second man depicted is also described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged in his mid to late 20’s, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard. He is depicted wearing a black top and shorts, black hat and carrying a shopping bag. Police have also released an image of the drone located at Malabar. Eastern Beaches Police Area Commander, Detective Superintendent Rohan Cramsie, urged anyone in the community with information about identity of the men to come forward. Initial inquiries suggest there was some level of planning involved in preparing this drone, based on the items found attached to it, Det Supt Cramsie said. Police are currently exploring whether this was an attempt to smuggle contraband into a nearby correctional facility, where tear gas was used to break up a riot that occurred 24 hours later. As investigations continue, we are asking the community to please look carefully at this footage the information you have may assist police in locating those involved, Det Supt Cramsie said. 03.01.2022 Fire crews responded to a truck fire on the eastern distributor motorway at 7.30am this morning. Fire impacted and breached the side wall of the tunnel. Traffic was impacted whilst fire fighting operations were underway.

02.01.2022 Emergency services have transported a woman in her twenties after a crash between a motorcycle and car on the corner of Clovelly Rd and Brook St in Clovelly. The incident occurred at around 5.10pm with initial reports stating she was trapped under the front wheel of a car. A helicopter medical team landed in Queens Park and assisted local paramedics.... 02.01.2022 A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash in Sydney’s south yesterday afteroon. About 2pm (Thursday 15 April 2021), emergency services were called to Botany Road, near Foreshore Drive, at Banksmeadow, after a Mazda CX3 travelling south hit a roundabout and travelled into a nearby garden. The driver, a 91-year-old woman and sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.... Officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command established a crime scene as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner. 01.01.2022 NSW Police issue 28 PINs following Bondi Junction house party Police will issue 28 Penalty Infringement Notices (PINs) following a house party allegedly breaching the Public Health Order in Sydney’s east overnight. About 1.20am (Saturday 19 September 2020), officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were called to a home on Oxford Street, near York Road, Bondi Junction, following noise complaints and reports of a party.... Police attended and observed a large group in the home. After speaking with a 26-year-old man, it was established he was one of four occupants and there were 24 guests inside, which exceeded the allowable 20-person limit for private gatherings. The guests were told to leave the premises and given a move on direction from the area. Under recent changes to the Public Health Order, the occupants and attendees will all be issued $1000 PINs.
