17.01.2022 With the easing of restrictions over the past month we have received a lot of interest in Firearms Safety Courses. Unfortunately with current restrictions ranges are only open to licensed members. As per the announcement by SSAA QLD on 05/05/20 (https://ssaaqld.org.au/covid-19/) no unlicensed shoots (ie no Form 33's which is what you fill out as part of the practical for the course) are currently allowed. We hope to see further easing of restrictions soon which will allow ranges to open to unlicensed shoots.

03.01.2022 FRIENDS PLEASE SHARE!!! Koshie, never thought you were so narrowed minded after your interview this morning regarding the closure of firearm dealers. Obviously ...it was a way for you to push your own political view on firearm ownership in our free country. We as firearm owners/hunters don’t expect city slickers like yourself that buy your meat on a foam tray every week to understand what we do or why we do it but DONT pigeon hole us as violent, dangerous irresponsible citizens. The reason there has been a rise in the sale of firearms and ammo is because of the Aust dollar is so weak and it all gets imported from the states! We can not Stickpile firearms as our license doesn’t allow us to buy more than 15. If we choose to lighten the load on commercial meat buy taking our own free range, chemical free game that’s our choice. While the rest of society sits in front of there computers shooting people on there violent games we are out in nature, practicing conservation at its best, staying fit having a connection with our surround you will never experience. To put thing in perspective for you your old co host Mel Doyle’s father Arthur use to rabbit shoot with my late grandfather for rabbits on their properties in Dorrigo.
