19.01.2022 Guests and friends Our building is built to cyclone standards and we suffered no damage despite maximum gusts at Shark Bay Airport reaching 150kph. We have completed our post cyclone cleanup and are open for business tonight. Feel safe in arriving for your booking. ... We must add that we are grieving for our friends to the south of us who do don't have the same building requirements and have been smashed. Regards Phil See more

Peak floods are likely to coincide at... 5pm today with a tide of 1.8metres expected. This is not your first rodeo and we breed em tough in the Northwest. On the Deck @ Shark Bay has been forced into shutdown for the moment but we would like to share some news with you The kangaroos are still coming to see us each day and if anything their numbers are growing. ... We still haven't had any rain - the last proper rain was 44mm June 2019 Shark Bay has remained Covid 19 free making it even more pleasant than normal. We are using our down time to do some maintenance so when you can start travelling again we will be ready to host you in the best possible condition. Stay safe and know we are missing our guest interaction a great deal and are keen to get back to something more normal Phil and Kerrie
