25.01.2022 Looking after our PNG brothers and sisters We the KTF

25.01.2022 Even the animals in Tasmania know how to pose for a Facebook photo! #ontrackexpeditions : Overland Track Transport

22.01.2022 We will remember them

21.01.2022 Ever get really hungry when hiking? We sure do! That's why we have a delicious outdoor food business to keep us fuelled up for the next adventure.

21.01.2022 Where will we find you this weekend?

20.01.2022 This is one of our amazing Kokoda Expedition Guides helping and serving the community. We are proud to see the unity and service that he and the whole of the South Australian Police Force are doing to get South Australia through this tough time. We have been bombarded with images of hate towards law and police from all over the world recently but rarely do we see the love and compassion that they have to work with their communities.... They may wear a uniform but the are human. From the proud On Track Family, thanks Jeff! #ontrackexpeditions : The Advertiser

19.01.2022 Hut life. The Overland Track has amazing history. Did you stay in a hut this weekend?

18.01.2022 Don’t be fooled by his pretty face, Adrian’s sense of humour will have you laughing and crying on the track #ontrackexpeditions

18.01.2022 44 days and 1,200km later..... Congratulations to Sean for finishing his epic continuous solo journey on the Heysen Trail in South Australia. He endured all types of weather, all types of emotions and meet amazing people along the way.... You won’t find it on YouTube or his blog (he doesn’t have one) because he did this for himself! We felt it would be great to share in the hope to inspire others to get outdoors and see more of our beautiful country. Love you brother

18.01.2022 To our Papuan brothers and sister, we wish you a happy Independence Day. We miss our PNG family but know that when the time is right, we will be reunited again : KTF

16.01.2022 Did you know we do our own catering on our expeditions? Did you know it’s our sister company and they have just changed the game? Check it out!

16.01.2022 Monday morning summit dreaming.....

15.01.2022 We are saddened to hear the passing of a Papuan brother. It doesn’t matter that Zedee worked for another company, it MATTERS that he has passed away at 36 and leaves a young family behind. Anyone who has walked Kokoda with us or any company will know the huge difference in the standard of living and the hardships PNG often faces.... I encourage you to support the fundraising efforts by Kokoda Crossing to support his family and legacy. Zedee will forever be in our thoughts as we walk through Isurava Village.

15.01.2022 This plane screams adventure! Although some people may scream at the thought of flying in it If you had this plane and pilot to fly you anywhere, where would you go?

14.01.2022 Check out how the amazing team KTF are still making the Lt. Col. Ralph Honner Event possible....

12.01.2022 Did you know... - That energy poverty is one of the worst forms of poverty yet one of the most widely unrecognised? - That it condemns BILLIONS of people to complete darkness once the sun sets, keeping them trapped in devastating cycles of poverty?... - That it is responsible for more deaths per year than Aids and Malaria combined? -That together we can ALL change the statistics and end energy poverty? In February, we will be guiding the SolarBuddy.org team as we hike 65km across Tasmania’s Overland Track. SolarBuddy have a goal of raising $65,000 to donate 2,170 life-changing lights to children living in energy poverty in Madagascar. The solar lights allow them to study after dark and increase their educational outcomes, giving them the essential tools they need to break the cycle of poverty they are born into and create the futures they deserve. If you would like to support the SolarBuddy team as they continue to illuminate futures, head to shorturl.at/nwER0 (Source: statistics based on World Bank, 2018)

12.01.2022 Who is ‘Big Ned’? This is Big Ned! Ned takes care of all our operations in PNG. He’s guided on the Kokoda Track over 300 times.... We miss Ned and all of our Papuan brothers and sisters. To be separated from family is hard and Ned is the chief of our Papuan family. We hope that as the world heals, we will see Ned and our family soon : Ed Matthews #ontrackexpeditions
