14.01.2022 Now that restrictions are beginning to ease in Victoria, what events will you be having? We, just like many others, had to postpone our daughter's Christening so we'll be having her Christening in two weeks. And just to make things a little extra fun (ok, stressful) her first birthday is next week too so we're having a first birthday party a week before also! 06.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE... Hello everyone! It's been quite a few months since we last updated our social media and I feel that it's time that I shared what has been going on and where On Trend Event Hire is at. It has been really difficult for me to find the words to express how I'm feeling about the current situation so please bear with me...... Covid hit us just as I was returning from maternity leave and starting to take bookings again so it's been difficult to get my head back in the social media game. Our daughter Alara is 10 months old today and I've used this time without events to focus on being the best mumma I can be. Oh, and to do a 1000 piece puzzle, @thehomeedit my house, bake bread and digitise old VHS... Anyone else?! As we are Melbourne-based, we have been in the longest lockdown anywhere and we are still unable to have gatherings of more than 5 people (that is, 2 households outdoors only) which means no events. Although Covid has obviously shut down our operational side, we are still plugging away behind the scenes answering your emails to change event dates, providing quotes for 2021 (and 2022 ), working on our website and sourcing new and amazing hire items for you all to enjoy as soon as we are allowed. As the restrictions dictate, outdoor events will be where it's at for the next little while so we wanted to share that we are expanding our outdoor event hire range! We are working on putting together some DIY picnic packages and will share these with you asap. We have a new collection of beautiful boho rugs, cushions, ottomans, teepees and more on the way and these will be up on our website in the next few days. This has always been a big part of our business and I think it's fitting that the last event we posted was an amazing @partywithlenzo styled picnic soiree that we were a part of. All hire is still available to be booked and we want to assure our customers that we are in a strong position to resume all events as normal as soon as restrictions ease. We can't wait to celebrate your events with you all soon. Until then I'm just going to go and reorganise the warehouse shelves for the 100th time...
