20.01.2022 Late cancellations and No Show Policy It saddens me to have to write this but each year especially at Christmas time we feel it happens more and more! We are extremely busy all year round and at Christmas time all of us put in extra hours, extra days and try to squeeze as many of you in as we can! ... This means time away from our loved ones, time away from our friends, our Christmas shopping gets put on hold and just in general our life. What is sad is when people don’t show up to an appointment they booked online after reading our policy when booking or receiving a text reminder, responding that they will be attending and just not show up! It’s extremely rude and this means that as a business we are losing money and income from that appointment as well as turning others away that would have loved that spot. 2020 has been a hard year for all and we would hate to end on a negative note, so we do ask that if you can’t make it - please just pick up the phone and let us know ASAP so we may be able to fill your spot with someone else. Not showing up will mean that you will charged the full amount of your missed service on your next visit. We understand that things happen and sometimes it’s out of your control but all we ask is for a phone call! You don’t want to be put on Santa’s naughty list.... But enough negativity, we are pumped for how busy we are in the next few weeks and can’t wait to see you all before Christmas and we have a well deserved break!!! Love Team ONYX

19.01.2022 Long Post - Sorry - But please read... Under stage 3 restrictions for regional Victoria being enforced on Wednesday 5th of August at midnight, our heart breaks for the many small businesses that are forced once again to close their doors during this pandemic. We are lucky in a way (if you can call it lucky) that Hair Salon’s are not included in these closures and we can legally remain open. ... While our number one priority is the health and safety of our staff and clients, it has been a very tough decision and one we have not made lightly. With this being said, we have decided it is in the best interest to help keep everyone safe that we will be closing the doors at the end of the week and will remain closed for the duration of stage 3 lock downs. For the remainder of this week please know that masks will be worn by staff at all times during your service and this is now a mandatory requirement for clients also under the Victorian government new regulations. While we know many people have spent good money on pretty looking masks to stay as fashionable as you can during this time, we do highly recommend that you wear a disposable, over the ear mask to avoid any bleach or color staining on your pretty mask! We will be making phone calls in the coming days to cancel all up and coming appointments during our closure and we ask that while you may or may not agree with this decision that you please respect this decision. We understand this is a hard time for all. Our love and support goes out to each individual and we do really want to do what is best for all! As you know hair salons have been allowed to open during all this chaos and we did make the very tough decision to close our doors to help do our part to keep everyone safe! With the new ‘road to recovery’ guidelines and stages that have been released along with the lowering cases recorded in regional Victoria, we feel a lot safer to reopen our doors to all our go...rgeous clients! So we are very excited to say we will be back from Tuesday 15th and simply can’t wait to see you all! We do ask that when you come for your appointment you follow the below guidelines. * You MUST come alone - please do not bring anyone else to your appointment. * You MUST wear your face mask to your appointment and we suggest wearing a disposable one to avoid any staining from color services. * You MUST use our hand sanitizer on arrival and understand that your name and number will need to be on file for contact tracing. * If you are feeling unwell with even the slightest of symptoms you MUST NOT come to your appointment - you MUST cancel! * If you have traveled to ANY hot spots or Melbourne at all - you MUST reschedule your appointment.
