We know its been a while since you have heard from us.. we were just taking a bit of a breather from social media, getting all of our ducks in a row after a whirlwind couple of months. I am sure you all know what thats like.. Sometimes you just need to hit pause and take a step back to look at the big picture happening around you.. ... Its been busy here at Oodies and we thank you all ( our beautiful people) that have continued to support us.. it means so much.. we have been busy training a few new team members and while there has been a few teething problems, they are coming along very nicely. You will see a few new faces... they are young and eager and learning.. We promise to update you soon on some upcoming events but for now, just a BIG hello and sending you some love .. We are very grateful for the love and support you have all shown us, we think this will make it a lot easier for us, that way we can focus more on giving you our full attention and an amazing experience when you are at Oodies. 23.01.2022 A very Special evening spent with beautiful people all coming together to celebrate the album launch of "Emery's crossing" with the one and only Sam Maddison Music. Thank you to all for coming out on a school night to support Sam. We had a great time. It was a full house with loads of passion and great energy It takes a team of wonderful folks to bring these nights together and we each and every one of you.

Tonight would have been, what has become something of a birthday tradition... a night spent with the one and only Chris Matthews ( We ya Chrisso). He can not be with us tonight but with some clever organising, help from our dear friend Scott, and much love from some of the amazing artists that have supported Oodies over the last 2 years, they have put together a little something for all of us to sit back and enjoy. 16.01.2022 Just a few little things you might need to know for the weekend here at Oodies.. We will be closing early tomorrow ( Saturday 3rd ) at 11am... ... we don’t do it very often, however the Oodies team are taking a moment to celebrate the wedding of 2 of our own, Kam and Dan .. ( it’s a big deal) we know a few of you have bookings at 11am and that’s totally fine... but we will close the doors at 11am to help us clean up and get ready. We will also be CLOSED for the public holiday on Monday but back to normal on the Tuesday.. we hope you all have a great break over the long weekend.. Love to all

05.01.2022 Oodies...our new reality Over the past few days, we have been pondering over and reflecting on our COVID journey. There have been many challenges over the last few months which have seen us reduce, reevaluate and reinvent our business. We have had to make some tough business decisions, say goodbye to some amazing team members, revise our menu for takeaway, rearrange the cafe to be COVID safe, plan and document new procedures in line with government policies, revise the men...u for dine in, upgrade equipment and software to handle all the changes, retrain the team, and exist in a new and ever changing reality that is in no way certain and may continue to be so, for some time to come. It has been an interesting journey and though it hasn’t always been easy we have pushed through and have found our new reality. We want to thank you, the many wonderful and patient people who have been so supportive while we have introduced these changes. Some important things everyone should know moving forward: * Oodies now seats 34 people over 11 tables. Due to Covid restrictions we are only able to sit a maximum number of people based on a 4m2 rule, and each table needs to be 1.5 m apart. We know some of you have been disappointed because we haven’t had a table for you and we really don’t like saying no... * We are table service for dine in customers. This is a requirement of our Covid safe plan and we are rather enjoying this new aspect to our business. There are still a few things to streamline and we thank you for being patient with our team. * Social Distancing is still very important and we ask that everyone continue to be mindful of others. * Behind the scenes, we are still operating with many restrictions and a number of challenges. We have a much smaller team, and while they are amazing and super dedicated, there is only so much they can do under the circumstances. Please be patient...please be kind... * During peak times, there may be an extended wait on your meals. Please allow up to 40 minutes at Peak times. If you have time constraints, please let us know and we will see what we can do to help. We are still encouraging bookings via the Oodies Facebook page however we will not reserve all the tables and will keep a few for those of you that are a little more spontaneous.. its a turn up and see what happens situation. we are offering everything on our menu as takeaway and perhaps a sit by the river under a tree could be the way to go. The options are endless. We are actually excited about alot of our changes and we will continue to go with the flow of things. We look forward to the next chapter. It is a fraction of the number of people we used to seat and that brings its own set of challenges. It has been an adjustment for our team and we would like to thank all of you that dined with us this week and for being patient with us What we know for the moment is that phone bookings are working well for us Our adjusted menu will stay until stage 2. We... will continue to offer table service until further notice and we will still be closing at 1.30pm until stage 2 of the restrictions.
