25.01.2022 This meme is totally appropriate after a funny faux par today. We are away on our pre-Christmas holiday this week, and I am hopelessly missing Murphy who stayed at home. At lunch I noticed the older couple at the table behind us had a 10month soft coated Wheaten Irish Terrier. My heart leapt at his gorgeous face, and I walked over to the table to meet him. So caught up in the moment, I didn’t think what I should say to the owners and blurted out, Do you mind if I have a cuddle? As they suddenly stiffened in shock and looked back at me with wide eyes, I quickly clarified, Your dog. May I give your dog a cuddle?
