16.01.2022 forget calling my shop "Oonagh's Own" rename it "Oonagh's little shoppe of wonders" Wonder, why I have collected all this stuff, and do I really have a life?

16.01.2022 OMG .... I have pulled MOST of the boxes of stuff I will be offering for sale at festival, out and into my lounge room. Each year it gets bigger and bigger. I think there are 7 x 60L crates and more to come. 2 of those crates have beautiful locally grown wool. most of it is naturally coloured. some is dyed This year I will also have my supply of tankards, bowl, wooden spoons and baskets there. I have enough room to bring them all. ... Also many beautiful 100% wool blankets that are ideal for making clothes from that is warm and affordable.

05.01.2022 oh dear. the trailer is packed. HUGELY packed. room in the car for Gina van Acker's stuff but will need to repack the trailer with her crates. The market stall is going to be FULL. I am even selling off 2 of my Venetian gowns, if the offer is right. :) There is much fabric goodness to be had.... Locally grown wool, locally spun too. feasting gear jewelery so much I can't remember most of it. Even I will be surprised. See more

01.01.2022 After considering how my trade has been at markets over the past many years, I have decided that at Rowany Festival next year I will have a permanent set up on merchants row instead of market day only. This will allow me the time to spend with my lovely clientele, rather than the frantic few hours on the Saturday morning only. Also I welcome people to come and sit and chat, pick my brain, and learn new skills while I am there. There is a better than average chance I will doi...ng some sort of craft activity while I am at my stall, and I am always happy to teach people. Thank you to my patrons who have supported me over the many years I have been operating as a merchant.
