16.01.2022 A Bitter Sweet Day Sadly after 7 years Opal Hair has to close its doors for 6weeks or until guidelines are lifted. This global COVID-19 has an effect on us all. ... On a brighter note today we have a wonderful lineup of clients booked in which will make the day shine bright for us to get through it. And I am especially fortunate to have a selfless team working with me today. Both Kara & Taylah are a breath of fresh air throughout this cloudy time and without their generosity this journey would be a lot tougher. I will add, Marie would be here is a heart beat if she could- but not today. Remember this is only a short time of separation and myself &the team will be refreshed & rejuvenated on our return to pamper our clients and play hair once again. 11.01.2022 Hi all, I hope you have been hanging in there during our lockdown time. I thought I would just give you an insight of the little projects I have been busy doing while missing you:- - book work (still ongoing).... - sorting out my photos(never ending). - loads of goggle box watching. - many slow starts. - not enough of this ! - tried to not have much of this! - plenty of this. - too much of this!! - should be eating more of this! - little bit of this- not a big fan of the kitchen, as you may remember. -so much of this & our garden is looking better. - of course waking & playing with our cheeky dog, Blu. - winging the sewing machine. - dabbled in the painting game-furniture not canvases. - tinkered with this online shopping world. - living on my mobile phone so much more. - loving the extensive family bonding - dealing with my own nails & surviving. - overloading of the spring cleaning thing - so over it , but too late to turn back now. The picture below is what my aim is for my house when lockdown ends - as it is currently not there yet. - no live humans to play hairdos on- I have just had a few of our manikin friends to keep the skills up with. Continue to take care everyone & I really hope your time away has been just as much fun as mine.
