24.01.2022 FINDING THAT CONNECTION Here you can see two neurons sensing one another and connecting. There are 86 billion neurons in the brain - how do they know how to co...nnect to other neurons or body parts when our bodies are developing? They use these webbed hand-like structures that you can see in this video. The finger like projections actively sense the environment around it. I know - its heartbreaking that the video ends right when we get to the exciting part, but see the black wavering line in the bottom right? Thats what they look like after theyve connected together in a Petri dish. When we are developing in utero, youll find these growth cones, at the tip of every growing neuron, actively searching their way between cells to find the right spot to connect to. When they make their connection, they become resorbed and disappear. Growth cones arent responsible for the connections between neurons that form in learning and memory (synapses). Those connections are much smaller and appear as thousands of tiny bumps along the length of the part of a neuron called a dendrite. Today we were honored to have Raelene Stokes as our featured presenter where she held a Sexuality Training Workshop. Naturally this subject goes hand in hand with the many issues brought up by our members clients and this sort of training by experts in the field enables us as Hypnotherapists to gain further insight into this specialized area and how this helps members gain more meaningful outcomes for our clients. Its not fun to inform patients that what they see on a film is poor or highly manipulated evidance designed to create high panic. But this presentation in regards to the film is a great professional response to the issues it has raised panic in.

Her life and opportunities were so different to what I have. nothing stronger that a woman who is a mother. be kind to each other.

She is a uni student and she was asking for a hypnotherapy session to help with her procrastination issues around starting assignments: I would highly recommend Shavaya from Open Mind Hypnotherapy Australia for anyone that is thinking about having hypnotherapy. My experience was nothing but positive, calming and productive. Shavaya made me feel completely at ease from the very first consultation because s...he took the time to really listen too and understand the behaviour that I wanted to change with hypnotherapy. Shavaya provided me with insights into my behaviour, was empathetic and made me feel like I was understood. During the hypnotherapy session, Shavaya had a very calm voice, was completely professional and made me feel so comfortable that I immediately relaxed. This is an amazing achievement because I am a very anxious person who takes a long time to unwind, but Shavaya through her understanding and calming manner was able to put me in a deep relaxation within minutes. The scripts that Shavaya used during the hypnotherapy confirmed my belief that Shavaya had been listening to me and understood my behaviour, because the scripts where very relevant to me and really stuck in my mind. The metaphors and the imagery was memorable and really helped me to change my behaviour. In one session, I can feel a dramatic difference and have already taken active steps to change my behaviour.

The seminars were amazing and so blessed to have the opportunity to meet so many fellow hypnotherapists from many many fields. And afterwards I got to have a little fun on the Gold coast.
