23.01.2022 For all the wines lovers... https://www.bosshunting.com.au//best-wine-subscription-se/

15.01.2022 During the weekly meeting, our team was talking about how hard hospitality jobs are. Normally we heard reports from acquaintances working in the field. They always complain about the bosses, the team, exhaustion of work, and so on. And we realize that most of them mention that they have already witnessed the use of drugs or alcohol at work. We went deeper into this chat, and we realized that this is something common, it's more common than we imagined! But is important to rem...ember that common is not normal. You, who are reading this post, certainly know someone who works, worked or has a friend in the hospitality field with reports similar to the ones we were talking about. We are not here to give the answers, or even the most accurate person to say something, but it would be interesting to raise some points. - Those who work in hospitality are always "making others happy". People go to restaurants, bars, etc, not just to eat, but to have an experience. And those who work in this area are directly responsible, providing this experience and constantly satisfying customers. One hour this becomes unsustainable for the person, he/she also wants to be part of that joy. - The work in hospitality is exhausting. We've heard reports of people who worked 16 hours in a row, or 70 hours a week. Drugs are often consumed more for the "energy effect" than the madness itself. - Despite the high price of alcoholic beverages here in Australia, we have to remember that it is also the highest minimum wage in the world. Making it accessible, even though it is expensive. Not to mention direct contact with drinks in the workplace. It is important to say that we are not generalizing the people who work in the sector, much less judging. Just putting a point of view, of something that has become commonplace. A point of reflection on how the hospitality industry has been conducting its dealings with the staff.

09.01.2022 I was so lucky to recently catch up with Sandra Foti who is the founder of Piccolina, a famous Gelateria residing in the Melbourne suburbs of Collingwood, Hawthorn St Kilda. Sandra practised many of the gelato recipes when she started making it with her dad about 15 years ago. The result is gelato that is entirely natural, made from fresh cream, milk, sugar and a selection of raw ingredients. Everything at Piccolina is made from scratch using fresh, high-quality ingredients r...ight down to their nut-butters, caramels, sauce and jams.....their gelato is even gluten and gelatin-free. I hope you enjoy this podcast with an inspirational and positive leader who shows that with a great plan and confidence on your execution that you can achieve so much in our industry.
