25.01.2022 FOOD SHARE APPEAL WEEK IS COMING!!! 17th to 21st of August 2020 - PLEASE SHARE, give a fiver to Food Share and help us in the vital work we do. Did you know tha...t over 100 local agencies utilise our FREE food hamper service to provide emergency food relief? Last year we provided over 300 meals per day and over 100 Emergency Food Hampers each week to people in crisis. Agencies range from St Vincent De Paul and Anglicare to Brophy Family Services, local hospitals and community agencies, Indigenous Co-ops, Emma House Domestic Violence Service and Mental Health Agencies to name but a few. Wherever hunger and need occur in our community Foodshare volunteers can respond with food hamper support. Our entire service is FREE. As a not-for-profit organisation we enjoy tremendous community support but need to raise over $100,000 per year to operate and aim to rally community support to ensure we can sustain our vital work into the future. We are so lucky to have such a wonderfully supportive community, we really could not do what we do without your help!!!! And starting the run up to our yearly appeal with an absolute BANG is this AMAZING donation of $4051 from Jimmy Boxer and Wa...rrnambool East Primary School!!!! Jimmy is the Head Gardener at WEPS and a long term and passionate supporter of Foodshare. This year he shaved his head and raised an absolute mighty sum - Dedy was pretty excited! Thank you so much to all those that supported Jimmys Foodshare Fundraiser, what a wonderful effort!! This year Foodshare Appeal week is running from the 17th to the 21st of August 2020. Yearly Food Share has an annual operating budget of approximately $100,000 which helps to provide emergency food assistance to those doing it tough in the South West. 15.01.2022 This post should help a few people So often during lessons I see people in other cars a bit confused with this type of intersection, and particularly this exa...ct intersection of Kelp St and Raglan Pde. Today alone I saw people doing the wrong thing 4 or 5 times. Remember: -The red vehicle gives way to the green vehicle because it is turning right across its path. -If the the green vehicle is turning left and the red vehicle is turning right, the red vehicle must wait and still give way. Dont assume both cars will just take the nearest lane, they both are allowed to take whichever lane they want and the left turning car has right of way, so be patient. I hope this helps some people.
