16.01.2022 Our latest story sees us return to Suriyan, President of the Darebin Ethnic Communities Council. He talks about the challenges of raising his (half Tamil, half English) children. "I shouted at my daughter and of course that gave me an opportunity to explain: ‘These are sacred items for Hindus and you can’t put it on the floor.’ She said, ‘Appa, I’m sorry I didn’t realise it.’ ...
