08.01.2022 Our first open mic since lockdown, last week was a nightmare! Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding.. the technical side of running a live ...zoom session at an entertainment venue was daunting. Interactive Audio and live video projection plus distribution took 6 hours prior to opening the venue to set up! We got it 90% right! Chuck some curve balls in like people bringing backing tracks and Videos on USB that we were not set up for forced us to change the configuration that we had just spent 6 hours setting up! As a result we lost Audio, we lost the live stream, we lost the ability to control zoom .. but recovered eventually. We have since spent numerous hours getting it right and have allowed for curve balls! Come on.. test us! To the people who join us on zoom.. you will be included more this week, following a lot of reconfiguration! We Look forward to you interacting with us, the performers and punters! .. AND we will have more music from you! Get online, party and participate! To artists and audience attenting this week, rock up and we will get you in and on! No booking is required! Just get there early .. (in the unlikely event we reach capacity the doors will be closed) Entry is Free! PLEASE OBSERVE ALL COVID DIRECTIONS AS REQUIRED! Broadcasting live is very problematic when we may actually broadcast a breach that can be attract a massive fine! Small things like using a Mic that has not been disinfected, Sharing a mic, touching equipment that has not been wiped clean can easily become major breaches... please work with our Covid directions which include wearing masks inside, social distancing, not moving from your chair and observing space and social distance limitations. We have new innovations this week to make it easier to get drinks and service .. most of all we will strive to make you comfortable, put the tech issues behind us and ensure a great night ... See you Wednesday! P.S. to everyone that is messaging me .. I deleted the bom bom chats for two reasons 1. We don’t require bookings anymore. 2. Messages from bom bom plus a million private messages as a result of these chats was swamping me .. they were set up to take bookings .
