21.01.2022 There is something special about Alaskan fresh waterIf it's a lake, it is as blue as the sky, if it's a river, it is as clear as glass...and my personal favourite, if its a spring, it tastes like the freaking elixir of life I'm sure @reneeroaming, @matthewhahnel, @ayliazaidi & @callumfirth will back me up on this. Either way, at least now we know Renee's model skills are on par with her photography Hiking tip: Always purify, filter or boil your water, even if y...ou think it's clean. The whole time we were out in the backcountry we only drank fresh water twice. Once was from a natural spring and the second we were right up at the snowmelt Even then, we still ran the risk of getting sick...it really was something I always wanted to do! All other times though it was either purified with tablets or we ran it through our filters. 21.01.2022 This is for all you early birds out there! Before your day gets into full swing, make sure to check out the video I posted last night from Red Rock State Park in Las Vegas! It's a quicky but a goodie

18.01.2022 Back in August @callumfirth and I were feeling pretty pumped for our hike in Alaska. We had flown all the way to the U.S of A for what was going to be an amazing trek We did, however, spend the first few weeks in Las Vegas and decided to check out a local state park called Red Rock...This is what we got up to And yes, I figured you would all appreciate a shorter caption for once Check it! #redrock #lasvegas #summer #rock #adventure #nature #trailfood #hiking #tent #outdoors #tree #outdoors #explore

16.01.2022 Bob Ross once said that "God was having a really good day when he made Alaska" I don't think I've ever agreed with anything more in my life. To fully understand why I found Alaska so beautiful, I have to take you back. Specifically, to the first thing, I ever stole. This book right right here. "Hatchet" by Gary Paulson I was around eleven when I first read this story of survival. Hidden under a desk in a box laid a book with a small, silver axe hitting a rock showering ...sparks on the cover. It immediately caught my eye. Little did I know the story would inspire not only my love for the outdoors but would also form the fundamentals for how I visualised my life, dreams and thoughts. Through reading the book I had such a vivid image of where the story was set. Lakes and pine trees, the smells and sounds seemed so real. I didn't think anywhere in real life could amount to it. Until I went to Alaska. Almost an exact copy of what I had imagined when I first read Hatchet was right there, in front of me. I could touch it, hear it and smell, and God I didn't believe it at first. Since first reading, this book I've brought it along on each of my trips. Being in Alaska and experiencing the story again only this time actually experiencing similar things to what I was reading, is something Ill cherish for the rest of my life. God did have a good day when he made Alaska, but I think he was having an even better day when he put me there See more

14.01.2022 I recently got glasses. I've had them before when I was a kid and to be fair, I really did think they would make a world of difference. My issue is, this Beccy right here already makes me see things as clear as day Thanks for being my best friend Also turns out lenses for glasses are only a little bit less expensive then lenses for cameras. @becxiberras

12.01.2022 "WHAT! Dale got hulk hands?"...Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you have the greatest day and the Happiest of New Years!

12.01.2022 "We love to talk about our fingerprints and snowflakes and how every individual is unique. But, have you ever looked at a snowflake? I mean, they're all kind of the same. Back the camera up a little bit, and you are nothing but a human being, a spec of dust in space and time, not all that distinguishable from the 7 billion other specs of dust swirling around you" - The Liturgists I think there is a beauty in collectiveness. Being focused on individuality and what sets us ...apart from the pack can often be incredibly blinding. Sometimes you just need to take a step back and focus on what's all around you, the commonalities. Although this picture ignores a lot of principles of photography, I think the absence of a singular subject does that. It helps you see the collectiveness in real life and steers you away from focusing on one single thing. I like it. Plus, it fits well with the extract from a guided meditation I'm in love with. #brycecanyon #hiking #nationalpark #snow #theliturgists #vapor #meditiation See more

10.01.2022 So it turns out I've lost this jacket Despite the photo, I'm certainly not happy about it. If you have seen it, stolen it, or have any information that may help with the search. 09.01.2022 I've been thinking a lot my creativity latley...more specifically how much I truly miss making films that I'm proud of and can call my own Being swamped with client projects and uni work hasn't exactly helped. At the moment, I think I'm sitting on 4 or 5 really decent collections of footage that I just haven't had the time to get around to. Lake Clark being one of them. I'm gonna try and change that This spicy pic was taken but the dashingly handsome @matthewhahnel when... we were out trekking in Alaska last year! Now that I think of it..this is the first actual shot of me hiking..ever.... #Alaska #lakeclarknp #nature #trailfood #hiking #tent #outdoors #tree #outdoors #explore #floatplane #lake See more

06.01.2022 Flying into Lake Clark on a float plane was an experience I can only describe as pure amazement From the roaring sound of the engine to the mountain passes we traveled through, it felt like something from a dream. At one point I started to feel sick, not from the rough air but from constantly turning left and right snapping as many frames as I could I was in pure bewilderment after every turn we took! Hiking Tip: Often circumstances are out of our control when i...n the backcountry Pack at least a day's extra supply of food just in case (Like us) you need to stay out there longer than expected. Due to windy weather, our pickups couldn't land and we were left to camp out for another day and a half. Rest assured, our peanut butter and tortilla supply had us covered #alaska #lakeclarknp #nature #trailfood #hiking #tent #outdoors #tree #outdoors #explore #floatplane #lake See more

06.01.2022 "We're soaring...we're flying, there's not a star in heaven that we can cant reach" - Troy Bolton No but seriously, the views from our floatplane on the way into Lake Clark were truly out of this world. I've mentioned it a few times now but thinking back to this flight, I've never experienced something quite like it I just wish I could cash my frequent flyer miles for more flights like this! #Alaska #lakeclarknp #nature #trailfood #hiking #tent #outdoors #t...ree #outdoors #explore #floatplane #lake See more
