23.01.2022 Hi Angels, I’ve been a little quieter lately as have had some health issues and coping with the lockdown here in Melbourne like all of you too. But here is a little news. Hugs, Jacqueline

19.01.2022 Hi Angels, Especially those in Victoria. Here is a valuable video I thought I’d share. Please feel free to share as well! Jacqueline

19.01.2022 Something very important for everyone to know! J

19.01.2022 Hey Angel Family! Especially Sarah Brennan who brought all this amazing ski jackets and gear down from the Mansfield community and our supportive donors: Granny Quilters from Ballarat, Vintage Rose, Ballarat Granny Knitters, your generousity filled my living rooms and dining rooms and have warmed the hearts of the Bushfire ravaged areas of the Alpine region and East Gippsland where people have had to make do in hay sheds and tents amidst the snow! Young parents are letting ...me know their toddlers will be warmly dressed because of you all and they can also cope better knowing you have all reached out with empathy, compassion and given then DIGNITY! Thank you seems insufficient. Hugs Jacqueline xxxx See more

18.01.2022 Hi Angels, Thought you might like to see a few messages from your Gift recipients! Also, we came across a couple who lost their house as the fire bore down on them from three sides - they saved their animals and are now living in the barn with their dogs in Buchan. It’s freezing, but she told me on the phone that she was moved to tears receiving warm jackets, new Naot shoes and new knitted beanies from Operation Angel (all of you). She remarked: A lot of the donated stuff th...rough the big name agencies has been dirty and really rubbishy clothes - it was humiliating to touch and look through, but everything you sent was so clean and lovely it felt like Christmas Angels, that’s why we have been strict about quality and dignity. When someone is at their lowest ebb, there isn’t any need to reinforce that with filthy items that smack of desperation and can push them further towards hopelessness. So thank you all for understanding that and being so careful and compassionate! Hugs a very proud and humbled Jacqueline xxxxx

18.01.2022 Hello Angels, My lounge room and our staging area is filling up again with amazing packages of beanies and warm woollies and just when I thought it couldn’t get any better.... bumped into @Deborah Royce and she activated her phone tree and wonderful warm clothes have started pouring in again! We also had a donation of $120 cash so it was spent immediately on kids’ Gumboots and they were given out to little ones straight away up around Buchan. I’ve been a bit absent in past fe...w days - not posting as I’m a bit sick again and having a battery of tests - I had ovarian cancer a while back and they are just checking things out. But I am also starting up Storytime again soon. A little break for the little kids so you can snatch a shower whilst I read them a book on video. So when you see me wearing a weird flower hat of feather in my hair that is what is going on (it helps differentiate Operation Angel releif work from me being a goose! If you need some comic relief you grown ups can watch as well with a glass of wine maybe? Anyway, ALL, YES ALL, of you are making a difference in the cold burned out bushfire areas notes of thanks are pouring in to us. Thank you with hugs, Jacqueline xxx PS: making a trip to Post Office today to collect your wonderful knitted kits and will do a video later. You make me so very proud to know you all long distance.

15.01.2022 This is why I wear a mask! Also, if I go down, Operation Angel ceases to help others! We are still collecting knitted beanies, so keep the woolies coming xx Jacqueline

13.01.2022 A graphic to understand what masks block. They aren’t foolproof for the general public (medical and healthcare workers need a better seal) but this photo illustrates particle aerosols. WEAR A MASK!

12.01.2022 A huge shout out of THANKS to all our frontline Healthcare and Forst Responders, as our Covid 19 numbers rise in Melbourne, and ALL OF YOU are saving lives!

09.01.2022 Hi Angels, I don’t do much contentious stuff unless I have researched and have a strong belief - so here is me taking a risk and sharing! If you want participate in a story in the Herald Sun about this topic, then @Susie O’Brien is looking for opinions! Hugs, Jacqueline

08.01.2022 When we all make it happen .... it truly works. Hugs to you all for the trust and the success! Jacqueline

07.01.2022 Let’s get the distribution wider!!! Xxx
