24.01.2022 What a ride! A year long journey in preperation for the National Competition and the team is back in Melbounre after a sucsuessful week competing. The Operation Aptitude team bought back the Innovation Award for Professional class, and placed overall 11th. We would like to pay a special thank-you to all of the team sponsors, as well as Charlie Todhunter, Kyle Winkler, Greg Rees, Joel Kennady and our schools supporting teachers for their continuous support throughout the pro...ject. 24.01.2022 After having to re-run our automatic race due to technical difficulties earlier in the day, we are very proud of the result. Will update you with the ranking tomorrow after our reaction races. Pit display is also very popular with multiple judges coming around in their spare time to have a look.

22.01.2022 Goodbye Melbourne, Hello Tasmania! The team has had an eventful first day in Tassie, celebrating Jenna’s Birthday and checking out Tasmania’s wonderful city. We would like to thank TSM - Transport Managment Solutions for making the trip possible. The team will be posting daily, and giving updates on the competition! 21.01.2022 We would like to invite all of you to come watch us in action at the first round of The F1 in Schools event. This year we are lucky enough to have this round held at our school, ELTHAM College! Make your way over to the ELTHAM Colleges sports stadium between 9am and 3pm on Wednesday the 11 or Thursday the 12th of October. 20.01.2022 We made it to Nationals!!! Thank you to everyone who supported us on this journey and came along to cheer us on. We would like to congratulate all the other teams that made it through and well done to ELTHAM College's Cadet team for coming third in their class. We won three awards including Best Team Marketing, Best Managed Enterprise and Best Graphic Design. Now to work even harder to refine all of our ideas before heading Tasmania next March.

18.01.2022 Team Operation Aptitude would like to thank Go Girl for sponsoring our F1 team to support us at the upcoming State competition. We really appreciate the support and encourage all girls to get involved in engineering and IT!

18.01.2022 Last Friday night, the Operation Aptitude team was lucky enough to collaborate with KIOSC learning center to lathe wheels for the F1 state competition. We headed down to Wantrina campus of Swinburne University where we were able to have a look around their amazing engineering department and learn how to use the lathe machines. We would like to thank both KIOSC and Swinburne University for the fantastic STEM opportunity. Here is a short sneak peak of what we got up to!

11.01.2022 During the past week Operation Aptitude have been hard at work smashing out car testing before the christmas break. Not only have we made more trips to Swinburne University of Technology to lathe new wheel designs, we have also had the opportunity to test multiple car designs with light gates. Having access to this technology means we are able to work out when and where our cars start decelerating. We would like to once again thank everyone for their support. We will posting a lot more regularly so stayed tunned!

06.01.2022 It's almost here! The F1 In Schools State Competition is only 2 weeks away, and the team is hard at work finishing off the project. Below you will find a sneak peak of whats to come for our uniforms and pit display!

05.01.2022 Competition Day 3 - Had reaction racing in the morning. Were able to beat our friendly rivals Propulsion by 0.001. What a great day of judging. Looking forward to finding out the results tomorrow night. Will post the link to the presentation live stream soon.
