22.01.2022 Although the crocs, sharks, jelly fish and saw fish were bit of bother, keeping us checking the river banks, it was also a relaxing way to travel. But the top of our feet got sun burnt.

19.01.2022 The support vehicle. VW kombi. Bill and Bob drove it half way before the walk, and buried half of the food along the way, or left at farms and stations. Once we walked that first half, Bob drove it up to Burketown, once again stashing the provisions along the way, and then he hitch hiked back to us, and we then continued walking. The large red jam cans came from the original Jam factory. they protected the food from foxes and dingoes.

05.01.2022 Bob would take ages to take a photo. On this occasions he took so long that the tide kept on going out before he would go click, that we had to go further out and drag the boat with us, again and again. I think he took an hour to achieve this photo. We would wade out until the water was waist-high for it to go out again and we would be standing just in the mud. In the end we said enough's enough, you do it now. We had moved out probably a hundred yards, our feet and legs getting shredded by the sea shells. I don't even remember if we checked for crocodiles.
