18.01.2022 Do you see the difference in muscle bulk between the two? Muscle imbalances will occur for a number of reasons and the entire kinetic chain needs to be thoroughly examined to workout the root cause! In this case it's the Soleus muscle. ... This patient presented with pain, swelling of the foot and pelvis pain quiet early in to his run. If you haven't worked it out yet, yes he is a marathon runner Working through the imbalances we saw major improvements by his third visit with no foot pain or swelling and a well functioning hip. #sportstaping #chiro #sportschiro #sportschiropractic #sportschiropractor #Chiropractic #chiropractor #run #running #runner #marathontraining #parkrun #wellness #physio #osteo #Physiotherapist #osteopathy #physiotherapy #osteopath
16.01.2022 #Repost @elyassportschiro On the field with local cricket players Yes I like cricket, absolutely loved it as a kid ... You might assume like many of my friends (usually ones that have never played or know what cricket is) that serious injuries are not so common to cricket, well you are wrong like them Infact a recent study unveils average match injury incidence, for match time-loss injuries, was 155 injuries/1,000 days of play. Annual injury incidence was 64 injuries/100 players per season, and average annual injury prevalence was 12.5% (although fast bowlers averaged 20.6%, much higher than other positions). The most common injury was the hamstring strain. The most prevalent injury was lumbar stress fractures (1.9% of players unavailable at all times owing to these injuries, which represents 15% of all missed playing time). 16.01.2022 #Repost @stefansportschiro Every allied health practitioner should have the same common goal: Help the patients quality of life and improve their general wellbeing. Each of these fields have a different philosophy to their treatment methods and have different therapy ideas.... At the end of the day the title you decide to attend for treatment shouldn’t matter as we have the same common goals. Find a practitioner that’s going to not only get you out of pain, but also focus on the wellbeing and function of the individual. @optimumfunctionchiro #chiropractic #functionalmedicine #sportschiro #sportschiropractic

03.01.2022 Elbow Pain Most common cause is inflammation as a result of repititve hand, wrist or arm movements due to occupation, sports or weekend renovations. Most common type is referred to as "tennis elbow" clinically known as lateral epicondylitis. The injury occurs in the tendon aspect of the muscle close to the elbow joint, where the tendon anchors to the bone. Some can experience referral pain down to the wrist and most gripping activities can aggravate the condit...ion. Treatment depends on the severity of the condition. If arthritis, tendon tear and other pathologies have been ruled out than conservative treatment may be the best option. 1Avoid aggravating activities 2Dry Needling/Acupuncture 3Soft tissue massage 4Taping/bracing 5REHAB EXERCISES If you are experiencing elbow pain DM or call us to find out if we can help! #sportschiro #Chiropractic #chiropractor #chiropracticaustralia #tennis #golf #badminton #sportschiropracticaustralia #Wellness #selfie #selfcare #physio #osteo #physicaltherapy #osteopathy #fisiocrem #dryneedling
