20.01.2022 As passionate about the subject as ever, Belinda has been out and about communicating the #howandwhywefarm message through a number of platforms. Recently, Belinda spoke to the Rotary Club of Howrah about her Churchill Fellowship project. Here, she discussed the findings of her report and highlighted that with a shift in consumer mindsets, the onus is now on farmers to tell their stories about how they produce their food to inform their markets.

19.01.2022 Yesterday, our systems and certification expert Belinda participated in a global panel discussion across 5 time zones and 3 continents! At the SQF Global Townhall webinar, discussion topics ranged from the COVID pandemic and its impacts on supply chain food safety to remote auditing, sustainability and use of new technologies to improve how we use systems and maintain certification integrity to meet market and consumer needs. Reflecting on the event, Belinda suspects that remote auditing is the way of the future, "After the pandemic, I believe it's here to stay. Now it's about how we can better utilise technology and systems thinking to maintain the integrity of remote auditing in the certification process".
