The field day showcased some of the outstanding agtech innovations being developed in our region, solving problems for farming businesses and the State’s agricultural sector. The talent we have in our region is incredible and I look forward to seeing some of these business and concepts grow. 16.01.2022 Optiweigh at the Clermont Cattleman’s Challenge field day last week. It is a terrific initiative - teams of 5 steers that go all the way from backgrounding to slaughter. We really appreciated being there to be able to show such an enthusiastic crowd how the front feet weighing was able to accurately calculate the weight gains and show how they were changing over time. Many thanks to Burnett Group for having us to Monteagle and for their support.

10.01.2022 At 10.00am this morning we left our latest Optiweigh, all alone in this beautiful green paddock near Breeza in Northern NSW. The 329 Wagyu yearlings were nowhere to be seen, by 2.30 over 6% of the mob had weighed themselves having never seen an Optiweigh before.

Thanks to Rod and Denise and the team at Ramage Engineering (who build the Optiweigh units) we now have an office and shed space at 270 Falconer St Guyra (right on the New England Highway). We’ll be fitting out and shipping from there and it’s a great place to call in and have a look at a unit. 04.01.2022 Exciting news for Optiweigh! We are thrilled to announce Anthony Chick has accepted a full time roll as Commcercial Manager, starting today. Based out of our office in Guyra, Anthony will add customer service and overseeing manufacture and assembly to his existing marketing responsibilities.
