18.01.2022 Another day In the life of a fish. Jacob swan 50mt freestyle in his relay team today. 50mt doesn’t seem like a lot to us adults but for little blokes that are swimming in a 17.5mt pool it is pretty large. All four of them swam so well. Jacob and his friend Tom are both only 8 years old swimming in under 10 along with their grade 4 mates. They had some bather and goggle mishaps but still did so well bringing home a 3rd. Considering the years that Victoria had all the kids on the day did so well.
18.01.2022 Day 3 - Lock down 3.0 A sunny 28 degree today. Remote learning completed without any arguments or tears. Jacob even dressed ready for go this morning. Charlie gave it a good crack. Puppy walked and entertained for a lot of the day. ... Boys went for a bike ride. Lawns were mowed. Hedge was trimmed. We are doing ok. Ok knowing it’s only for 5 days. Doing a great job Vic. He after two years of kinder was soooo excited to get in there today even had his bestest friend there to welcome him this morning. First time swimming a full 50mt. 1st 25mt backstroke 1st 50mt backstroke 2nd 50mt freestyle ... 2nd 25mt Breastroke 1st 50mt Breastroke 1st in 25mt Butterfly Just having a go in his first swimming comp was a proud moment but to take home some places was a huge moment for Jacob. Mum I definitely want to do squad now! Jacob this is all you. Maybe a little of the swimming genes from the Browne side and the East side but all you. Well done buddy. Next year you will be old enough for district. I have to say the school was amazing. Inclusion for all. The teachers and the students cheering and supporting all to just have a go. It was wonderful.
