Where you’ve been nurtured, loved, where... its always warm, you’re never hungry and always soothed by the beating heart of the one who created you. And then imagine taking a long and tiring journey, being launched into a new world that is bright, busy and loud. Adjusting to this new world is going to take time. Here is a mini meditation I did out in nature with the horses grazing nearby.... Please accept this offering as a reminder that the simple moments can be the most precious and we can slow down to the speed of Mother Nature. The speed of love not Fear! When we connect to nature we can be inspired by nature and remember we too are nature. Practice being in the present moment and build emotional resilience to the world of head stuff. His owner & new human ...mum Pam has been doing yoga for many years and is fully aware of the amazing benefits of a deep 4 stage relaxation. It’s so beneficial to consciously relax for at least 20 minutes everyday & the good news is you can clear the effects of hours of stress with only 10 - 20 minutes of deep relaxation. 08.01.2022 Hello Orana family, As we begin to adjust to significant changes in our lives; some find themselves in isolation from family and friends, many are experiencing unemployment or changes in working locations and conditions, others are adjusting to home schooling; and it’s important to also remember and thank those working long hours in the hospitals and health sector. It is essential to keep informed but not overloaded, follow the government guidelines, and look after yourselves.... When we are strong and centred we are in a position to provide support and care for others. So it is in this light, that we are sharing some Dru tips to help keep you centred, connected and aligned: We hope that you have already found the Dru posts for EBR 1, breath technique, short meditation and a relaxation beneficial. Breathe : - Focus on and sit with your breath. You might like to notice it enter the body through your nostrils as the body expands; then feel the breath naturally leave the body and a wave of softness replace it. Practice for 3-5 minutes daily. Light a Candle : - Sit, watch and focus on the flame. Notice the colours, notice the flicker and movement, take all of your concentration to really see and get to know the flame as if you’re seeing a flame for the first time. Be curious. Bach’s Flower Remedies ‘Rescue Remedy’: Available from chemists, health food stores, and supermarkets. Used for stress relief, if you need, use it regularly and often! (refer to directions on the product) Have a Bath : - Scrub your body with bicarb soda and then take a long bath, allowing the bicarb soda to soak in and neutralize your PH level. Get Grounded: If you can, go outside, preferably barefoot on the earth, do some gardening, or hug a tree! Yoga : - If you know any yoga from class, practice it daily. It doesn’t matter if it’s one posture, a breathing technique or an entire sequence. If you are familiar and comfortable with EBR1 (already posted here on facebook), the Earth Sequence, and/or Salute to the 4 Directions, these are great practices.
