25.01.2022 Its really important that we stay at home as much as possible to stop the spread of coronavirus in our communities. If you need to speak to a doctor, you can do this over the phone or the internet using a service called telehealth. This means you wont have to leave your home unless you really need to, keeping you and the community safe. A telehealth appointment is the same as a regular appointment and is covered by Medicare. You are still able to choose your doctor. Please call your AMS if you have any questions.

19.01.2022 IMPORTANT - We request that all clients please take note of the following temporary changes in place at OAMS: As of Tuesday 24th March, we are adopting some new, temporary procedures in an effort to make your visit to the doctor as safe as possible. These are precautionary only and in line with the Department of Health guidelines. The majority of patient appointments will be via telephone with some face to face consults. Patients should expect to receive a call from their GP ...at the planned time. All visitors and patients are advised that OAMS front entrances will be locked. Upon arrival- you will see an intercom at the front door, please refer to the signage of each building for instructions. Nurses will greet each patient to triage and take their temperature, depending on the circumstances the patient may be consulted in their car, in the pathology room if they need isolation or they may come through to a clinic room. Please do not share face masks, they are single use only and have the potential to spread viruses to other people. In the meantime please continue do your part to prevent the spread of viruses and look after yourself and community where possible. We will continue to keep you up to date with any changes. If you have any questions please call our reception team on (02) 6393 9000
